Bret Michaels Made It To The Final Two On ‘Celebrity Apprentice!’ We Hope He Can Make It For The Finale!

Wouldn’t that be such an epic win for Bret? We’re rooting for him more than ever now!
OK, this has to be the most dramatic season of The Celebrity Apprentice yet. On the May 16 episode, Donald Trump unleashed his wrath on former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis, celebrity chef Curtis Stone and (shockingly) Sharon Osbourne, sending all three contestants home! That leaves Holly Robinson Peete and Bret Michaels as the final two competitors — but will Bret be well enough to compete in the LIVE finale May 23?
As of now, the plan is for Bret to be able to appear on the finale, and those connected to the show are optimistic that he’ll be able to pull through. ”We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale,” the Donald recently said. “I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor.”
To be perfectly honest, I’m SHOCKED by last night’s results. I was sure that this season would come down to Sharon and Maria, and while that certainly would make for a dramatic finale, I’m MUCH happier to see Bret in the final two. And I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Bret will be well enough to take Holly on!

Celebrity Apprentice is an incredible show. It’s fascinating to see people you have known in the media for so many years and get to know their third dimension. We get all these preconceived notions of who they are when just seeing them as their characters on tv.
It was interesting to see the way even the fellow contestants figured Brett would be blown off the show in the first episode. I think it surprised everyone of how this rocker dude stepped up and took command and won and we all learned that Bret was a lot more than just some hair shaking old guitar thrasher.
Donald picked the right people at the end. Sharon in the end was too emotional, Maria is kinda scatter brained and Curtis doesn’t really measure up compared to Bret. It was kinda sad to see Cindy go last week. She certainly was a lot tougher than she was when she started and I think she had a lot of integrity.

Let’s sincerely hope that Bret is recovered enough to compete in the Apprentice Finale, whihc I deem a fair and fascinating contest between the creative/sensitive/playful Bret and the smart/iron-fisted/all-business Holly. Both run antithetical to their respective male/female, Mars/Venus gender stereotypes (in my book, a VERY good thing!) and will contrast more in their respective approaches to their tasks than other possible pairings, thereby creating more entertaining drama. It’s a show, after all, and love Holly or hate her she stands out from the rest and had certainly now made a household name for herself as an egotistical villainess of sorts- eclipsing her admittedly modest professional career. Also to be noted, however, that Joan and Bill were entrusted to help Trump select the finalists from the Final Four and as contrasting as their ownm styles/approaches are, the two of them only agreed upon Holly! Bret, the more likeable and popular of the two finalists may have to overcome his own fair-midedness and inherent valor to succeed against Holly’s ferocious killer instinct- e.g., Bret blithely ceding his #1 Snapple flavor ingredient, passion fruit, to Holly’s sly ally Curtis. I’ve rarely been able to pick the previous tasks’ winning teams so I intend to relax and watch it all play out without heading towards any obvious victor.

Can’t believe Holly made it. They talk constantly about her bringing in the most $ ever on her one win, but some came from Sharon’s team and some from the sponsor of the project. When she lost as PM, it was because she ruined things creatively and insisted on her way when her teammates disagreed. Brett was prime in all projects his teams took on and brought them home each time. He also was always a gentleman and never treated others with disrespect. Holly was an imature bully most of the time. Actress? Her name is longer than her resume.
