The 12-year-old YouTube phenom could be stealing your girl-fans? Are you at all concerned that he’ll be stealing your teen-idol crown?
In just one week, Greyson Michael Chance has gone from being a normal, homework concerned 12-year-old to appearing on Ellen, speaking with Lady Gaga, and now signing his first record contract! Crazed Hits reports that the YouTube phenom, whose cover of Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ has attracted over 13 million views, has signed with Interscope Records. In fact, Interscope was reportedly so interested in Greyson they “closed the deal before any other label could even step in and meet the kid.” Uh-oh Justin Bieber, it looks like Greyson is about to steal your thunder!
There is no word on when Greyson will start recording but as we mentioned before his Bieberesque looks are sure to be a hit with the young ladies. Greyson even told Ellen DeGeneres last week: “let’s just say I’ve gotten a couple of numbers.” It seems like he is going places quick!
Greyson has been so popular since his video came out he has been a trending topic daily on Twitter while Justin, who has ALWAYS been a trending topic, was not this Saturday for the first time in months!
So BFFs we want to know, which young pop star is your favorite? Are you still Team Bieber or are you Team Greyson?

I think that Greyson Chance and Justin Bieber could take turns to see fans. Justin Bieber is really cool and sings well. It will be nice to have Greyson sing.

This would be like comparing an apple to a carrot.Both boys have talent without a doubt, but both artist have different insperations, as well as different styles of music.The only similarity,is that they both got started off youtube.Greyson isnt a copycat for posting videos, millions of kids post their talent on youtube, he just happpens to be really good, as for getting singed. GOOD JOB GREYSON.But listen people,there is enough room in the world for more then one popstar.Greyson may just be that other popstar.He has talent, no doubt.Justin Bieber is amazing, but thats no reason to hate on Greyson.

Im way more impressed with Greysons school performance on a video camera than someone else’s retouched and altered recordings. Greyson shows lots of real talent. With all the stars these days that have to use equipment so they dont sound off key, its refreshing to see someone that can sound that good on their own. Sorry but Bieber seems more like a phase.

I hate Greyson! He’s a 12 year old copycat! Posting himself on youtube, going on Ellen. What’s next? Oprah? Usher? Jeez kid, get your own fame. Don’t even bother trying to steal JB’s…He’s way better than you. Most of my friends don’t like JB, but they’re most likely jealous. He’s hotter than Greyson, and better than him. That little dude needs to get his own life and his own fame

Hell yeah, Greyson!
They’re both talented, but Greyson DEFINITELY wins more points in my book because he can play piano so well, too. IDK enough about Bieber to know if he plays piano, too, but Greyson does and does so well.

I never did get the Bieber craze. The boy can sing alright but not what I would call great by any means. I think Chance though is very talented even if he did get a little too close to the mike once when he was singing on Ellen. I still worry that they are too young for this. I wish both of the boys had a couple of more years just to be boys before they become superstars. In many cases it doesn’t end well for child stars. They grow up to think they are entitled and then lose their way when they find out they’re not.

Greyson Chance isn’t “stealing” anybody’s fans!He has probably just made his own!(i’m not one of them though.Dont get me wrong,that kid is super talented but internet superstars are way too overrated)
I knew this would happen.Bieber just started this vicious cycle of internet stardom,there was no way he could keep the “crown” for long though.People had to move on eventually.
Im not saying I want this to happen.I like Justin Bieber,he showed everyone it was possible for these things to happen,even though it was out of luck(plus he is hot!). But, oh well,the world will learn to move on.Don’t hate Greyson,and don’t be dis-loyal to Justin.Just let them live their lives and you live yours :)
