Sadly, the rumors are true: this Disney duo IS dunzo! But according to Demi Lovato, she and Joe Jonas are going to “remain friends!”
Late last night, Demi Lovato confirmed her sad breakup from Joe Jonas over Twitter: There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans.. Just thought you guys should know this.
Joe, 20, agrees that they’ll remain friends. “Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it might not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now,” he told People magazine. “It was my choice to break up but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.”

Now with the Jonas Brothers/Demi Lovato summer tour right around the corner, won’t things get just a wee bit weird between the two! Our advice: Demi, 17, should hop off the Jonas bandwagon and go on tour with Taylor Swift. What a great alternative — two besties scorned by the same boy?

it is just a rumor that his dad called demi to break things of. demi said on twitter that they did split but not on phone but will remain friends :(

Well … he broke up with taylor on a 27 sec phone call… soo this cant really impressed anyone !! I dont know but somehow this story make sense !! Well joe needs to grow up… ( he acts like a big baby !!)

It does sound weird, however isn’t this the same JoBro that dumped Taylor Swift via text message…sounds like somebody has a fear of rejecting perfectly good women/girlfriends.

This story sounds too weird to be made up, however, there is probably more to the story on why his dad made the phone call…
