One Dress, Two Colors: Shannen Doherty Does A Red Carpet Double Take!

Have you ever loved an item so much, you bought it in multiple colors?
Who knew Shannen Doherty was so loyal? After seeing the star in the Armani Exchange Strappy Banded Dress ($130) on two different occasions — and in two different colors — I would say she certainly isn’t shy about her style choices! Shannen first stepped out in the body hugging frock on Mar. 27, where she showed off the red version for Perez Hilton’s birthday bash in LA. Two months later, on May 25, Shannen sported the black frock for the Disco Glam event hosted by Armani Exchange and Elle magazine. Not only did she opt for the same frock on both occasions, but she also wore the same exact sandals! Personally, I like the dress best in black on Shannen.
While most gals stick to the same silhouettes they find flattering, you rarely see celebs working the same dress twice on the red carpet. What do you think? Is this a serious fashion faux pas or is it totally cool? I know some of my friends hate wearing a fab frock in front of the same group of people, so I’m surprised a celeb with countless designer duds at their fingertips would wear the same dress twice. Then again, if Shannen feels hot in her frock, why shouldn’t she wear it in multiple colors?
