Apparently we have a lot in common with Crystal — we love the season 9 American Idol winner too!

Moments before we learned who our new American Idol was, the cool, calm and collected Crystal Bowersox made sure that fellow top two contestant Lee DeWyze knew that, win or lose, she loved him.

“You seemed calm and what I saw when they were counting down to going live, you were counting along and I saw you say ‘I love you’ to Lee right before the cameras went back,” Ellen DeGeneres said to Crystal on the May 28 episode of her talk show. She then commented to Lee, 24, “You were in your own world, I don’t think you even heard it.”

How cute that they have each others backs, and are super supportive of each other. We are totally happy for their future successes, just as long as we don’t have to watch a ‘From Crystal To Lee’ movie!
