The disgraced Duchess of York goes on Oprah to say she ‘was not in the right place’ when she tried selling access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss the events leading up to her $750,000 bribery scandal – saying she was drinking and at rock bottom! “I was drunk,” she explains in the interview airing today. She goes on to explain she was “in the gutter” at the time she offered an undercover journalist, posing as a businessman, access to her former husband Prince Andrew for close to a million dollars!

Fergie, 50, admits that she still has yet to see the undercover tape of her accepting the bribe. “I haven’t faced the devil in the face,” she told the talk show host. Fergie has also cited a lack of cash as a motivation for her actions – even though she is known to travel by chauffeured cars and is frequently seen toting her $6,000 Birkin handbag!

It looks like things may be looking up for Fergie though! As we previously reported, Donald Trump has offered her a spot on the next season of The Apprentice!
