Bridget Regan is the queen of a gigantic and fervent fanbase — and she wants the ‘Legend of the Seeker’ fans to know they can still save the show …
Bridget Regan played the gorgeous, young warrior Kahlan on the syndicated drama Legend of the Seeker but ever since the show was cancelled in March, a huge campaign was started by her fans to help save the show! Bridget tells us that after two successful seasons of the show she was shocked it wasn’t renewed.
“It was doing really well in the second season,” says Bridget. “I thought our fan base was growing and especially how many countries were viewing the show … but I guess we needed out ratings on TV to be higher.”
The auburn beauty admits no one on the set would give her any answers as to why the show so suddenly came to a halt.
“I tried to get some answers,” she says. “It was not going to be produced by ABC unless someone else would come along and produce the show. I don’t know the whole of it … they haven’t told me … everyone was surprised by it.”
Bridget sadly recounted the day she heard the news. “One of the writers of the show told me … the main writer and we had a nice long talk about it and he was obviously very sad. I still haven’t even been released from my contract but I know it’s coming soon.”
Despite the sadness that comes along with the end of the show Bridget says she’s loved playing Kahlan! “I knew as soon as I read the breakdown that I would get the part,” says Bridget. “I knew that was me when I read the part of Kahlan.”
She wants all of her fans to know how much she appreciates them! “I want to thank my fans for their support and love and I hope they can enjoy what I do next and they are certainly a devoted bunch!”

I agree with many of the people here. As a soldier in Iraq this show made my time here much more bearable by providing a place to escape to when times got rough. I don’t watch TV much anymore because it seems like all the shows are just somebody who gets a camera to follow their family around and record their drama. This is a truly awesome show and it kills me to know there isn’t a 3rd season. One reason I love this show so much is there is a wizard that uses his powers more than once a season like some other shows. Sure the keeper was defeated and the rifts closed, but there are so many questions left unanswered. Do Kahlan and Richard have kids? Does Richard go back and take the throne? What are Rahl’s plans for Nikki? Does Richard ever get his magic back? These are just a few of the questions that need answering and another season is the way to answer them. Would it help if I said please?

wow I cannot believe they are not making another season! This crew did a very good job! Just sad that the seeker really didn’t win and evil did when something like real house wives or this reality crap on t.v wins over a good show with actual actors instead of idiots. shows with creativity and action will no longer exist! Directors should start yelling drama!! not action! Shows you what this world really is coming to

Has anyone heard anything about a season 3 of LOTS yet? The show was awesome! Why is it so hard to get someone to produce season 3 if abc won’t? I know there is enough fan base to support the season, so what’s the problem? Seriously, if some of the money people in these networks were half as smart as they think they are, they would give the fans what they want and make money while doing it! Only morons would refuse to produce a series as popular as this one.

this show was simply amazing, if there is no season 3 i guess it is the end of the world lol you have a big fan base and to leave on the episode tears as you did doesnt quite sum up the show as it should be ended so you have to make a season 3.
what would it take to get a season 3? im sure everyone would do it.
please continue the show for me and so many other fans of the show and for the great cast of the show, everyone has played their part and became the part.

I have longed to watch Legend of the Seeker Season 3. Any attempt never to produce Season 3 and other subsequent Seasons will be a crime against the millions fan. Richard, Kahlan, Zedd and Cara did wonderfully well in Season 1 & 2. Please, don’t deprive us from the very best TV show of the century. Please, the whole world is waiting, more especially the million fans here in Nigeria…..

I loved legend of the seeker and as an Australian to see so many Aussi actors on a show like this was amazing. It was one of my fav shows and would love for another one or more season.

I loved watching this show, there is so much more that can be done with it I can’t believe ABC would not renew the show for season 3 thats just crazy! I myself think show time should pick it up , make it grittier the way ABC can’t or won’t… ABC get a clue before someone else does !!!

Why cancel something so AMAZING!!…… epic adventures with magic and swords in descent tv shows are really hard to come by but Legend of The Seeker gave all that and was just a great show to delve into after a long day!
Please bring it back, whts the harm in trying 1 more season?? :D

Im pissed that they have decided to cancel the 3rd season of Legend of the Seeker. It was such a good show that kept me wanting more every week. I am a huge fan of Terry Goodkind and the show is awesome. plz make the 3rd season!!!

ABC is making a huge mistake by cancelling this series. Like Fox bringing back Family Guy, perhaps ABC will see the error of its ways. The actors in the show demonstrate a mastery of their craft which is lacking in almost every example of main stream television series today. Bridget Regan may be the most beautiful woman on earth and with a little promotion I am sure the fan base will grow by leaps and bounds just to see her! The whole cast is wonderful and I am very disappointed that they are victims of this reality tv plague taking over our country! It is a sign of the times that a show with substance, beauty, imagination, and values is cancelled while Real Housewives of ANYWHERE and 16 and pregnant continue to thrive! ABC, give this show a time slot worthy of it. Give a little promotion and a little time to grow and I am certain you will have a network powerhouse much like Family Guy is for Fox. I am not comparing the two series. Just the situation.

I have watched TV shows from around the world and enjoy the sci fi that has been made in Australia for example. Very occasionally, somthing diferent and special catches me and I watch the series relentlessly. Legend of the Seeker has been one of these shows and like all fans, I am so sad that it will not continue.
Do TV companies realise that ratings and advertising are not everything, they seem to have waved their duty to entertain viewers. Surely 2 million viewers of a show of this type is not bad enough to discontinue it. Perhaps there has been a mistake in the time slot for the show. I have young 12 year old kids, they love the show and most of their friends watch the show. My daughter cryed.
In particular ABC is a company that thrives only on ratings and advertising. What a shame a different company didn’t produce the show. I dont watch ABC much these days, over the years they have disapointed me in this way and that is possibly why their ratings are low for some shows.
Come on ABC, make good TV shows and don’t discontinue them because of ratings. You may find its not just shows but the whole chanel people will stop watching.

ABC is the worst offender, they are TV drug dealers! get you hooked and dont care after that. TV is entertainment is escapem from reality for most people. Legend has been a fantastic place to escape to.

I read the books, and I’ve watched every episode up to date. My mother and I finished both seasons, and we were so upset when we heard that there wouldn’t be another season. We want to know what happens next in the show, we love the gorgeous scenes, the great cast, and wonderful acting. We have tried consistently to looks for a show, that had seasons and seasons of it to watch, that was JUST like Legend of the Seeker, but we have not even come close. It will be really sad if there isn’t a third season. I really hope there is.

Loved the show! Got all set to see Season 3 and then BANG! Dissapointment! There was great stories, room for so many new ideas and Bridget, Bruce, Craig and Tabrett really clicked! It seems like everytime we get and really good show that make you anxious to see the next episode, they pull the rug from under it! Then again you get some of these really boring, stupid shows that seem to run forever! It’s a mystery to me! Bring back Legend Of The Seeker Season 3 and keep it going thru 4, 5,……….10!!!
