We’ve been asking our readers recently: do you want your daughters idolizing teen starlets like Miley Cyrus who are setting a bad example with their over the top performances and dance moves? Our readers at HollywoodLife.com are completely split as to whether they think Miley has crossed the line at the age of just 17-years-old. Some of you think Miley is a horrible role model and others think this is just what girls her age do. Read our comments and tell us what you think!
- Ashley: “I agree Bonnie. I don’t know what her rush to be a whore on stage is. The rumors from behind the scenes are coming out pretty fast too…..I’ll just sit back and watch the on-coming train wreck. I hope her family enjoys the cash.”
- Smiti: “Bringing up Britney Spears is perfect because both of them seem to have gone from virginal type teenagers into slutty type personas, all for the sake of money and fame. Then they cry and complain that people are picking on them.”
- Hannah: “Sorry but she is 17 and this is how normal 17 year olds are too…they want to be seen as sexy. Its the fault of our society if anything that only values women for their sexiness….we need to back off of her. Shes cute and has a lot going for her. These arent Hannah Montana concerts anyway.”

since the annie liebovitz’s shoot her PR went for it big time. it’s da show buzinezz .. nothing is real and everything is meant to make money.
she’s pretty and strong , her image is already knocking at the doors of sex in da city (or and the city whatever)

Umm… there are 17 year olds who WANT to dress like street walkers, but most of them have mothers who won’t LET them.
Think about it; If you went to the market right now and saw a young girl wearing what Miley wears, what’s the FIRST thing you’re going to think about that girl???
a) She’s dressed like a sl*t!
b) Her mother needs to kick her a**!
c) Her mother must not be around/a drunk/laying up with stepdad #3!
d)She’s just a teenager!

thats so true. there are only a handfull of girls that dress and act like miley so people can stop saying blame society, this is how they choose to act let them be. i am 16 and don’t act like that i have common sense and dignity not to act like or look like a slut “excuse my langauge”, with or without fame.
