High ponytails are a big trend this summer. And, as you can tell by Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristen Stewart, all ages can wear them and look great and totally appropriate. Gwyneth wore a polished, smooth-to-the-head version at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards on June 7. The Eclipse star opted for a messier, punkier version for her extensions at the MTV Movie Awards on June 6. Both actresses wrapped a portion of their hair around their elastics for a hidden look.
