Chace Crawford has gotten himself into some deep trouble! The Gossip Girl star is being officially charged with possession of marijuana stemming from his recent arrest while visiting family in Texas!
Chace Crawford might go to jail! We told you last week that Chace was arrested on June 4, after he was caught rolling a joint while sitting in the parking lot of a friends parked car. The star, best known for playing Nate Archibald on CW’s hit show Gossip Girl, was quickly arrested and released shortly after on bail. But according to TMZ Chace, 24, is officially being charged with one misdemeanor of possession of marijuana.
As you may recall, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that “Chace was rolling a joint. He had a little under 2 ounces of marijuana in a plastic baggy sitting in clear view on the dashboard.” It looks like Chase was channeling his inner Nate Archibald!
The source also revealed that Chase was in the drivers seat of a female friend’s car, and that “The young woman’s keys were eventually returned to her after Chace had been arrested.”
This means Chace could go to jail for up to six months!
Do you think Chace should serve jail time?

Everyone in this country who uses illegal drugs — marijuana, cocaine, heroin, speed, can take personal responsibility for the drug violence in Mexico, Central and South America, and the US border states. The blood of countless law enforcement officers, their families, journalists, and other innocent victims is on the drug users’ hands including your hands, Crawford. Look around outside your silly life.

You sound like a brainwashed idiot. Science trumps ideology every time, unless it is while having a conversation with people like you.

TELL ME, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A RICH ACTOR DID ANY TIME. MONEY DOES HAVE IT PRIVILEDGES. MR. BENSON WAS CORRECT: WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A WHITE GUY WENT TO JAIL.
YES, I AM WHITE.

Not likely he’s a white celebrity. When was the last time one did jail time for anything? I believe Wesley Snipes avoided jail after millions of dollars worth of tax evasion.

oh gawd, don’t they have anything else better to do in texas? the boy isn’t harming anyone. and whether something is illegal or not doesn’t mean it’s better or worse… take alcohol & nicotine, for example. plus you think they’d learn from the prohibition and just friggin legalize it already. stoners are way more harmless than alkies!

If they keep it illegal. The Mexican crime syndicates will continue to strengthen, be better funded, better equipped, better trained, and better manned. Until it not only over powers but also seriously corrodes the Mexican governmental authority. It will be at that point that we could be seeing huge instability in one of our closest neighbors even to the point of the next Mexican revolution. It’s not going to stop or go away until we drop the prohibitionist mind set. The sooner the better.

Lobitoff, poverty is what overpowers the Mexican government’s authority. The Mexican crime syndicates are just a symptom of the income distribution problem in Mexico. 10 families have historically controlled 90% of the country’s official wealth and the richest man in the world, Carlos Slim, hails from Mexico. Unfortunately, Mexican crime syndicates are the only form of income redistribution in Mexico.

Isn’t it a waste of time to arrest someone that has in
possession less than two ounces. What about the tons
that are being brought into the USA.

It is truly a shame that Pot is still illegal. Prisons are filled with non-violent offenders, costing enormous amounts of money. Not to mention the amount of time Police spend on busting non-violent offenders when they could be focusing on the really bad guys. It is a total waste of money (that we don’t have) and I pray that someday politicians will have the guts to do what is right and change these destructive laws.

Come on now, i understand its illegal, but 2 ounces for personal use?? is that worth 6 months in jail? The fine i understand because it is illegal, but honestly as a Canadian 2 ounces is like 120$ fine…a slap on the wrist if they even fine you. and i mean he is a celeb…let him off!

So is premarital sex in some states, should couples go to jail for that?I don’t buy the argument he should get arreated because it’s illegal! If anything,he’s basically should of waited til he got home, especially in texas, the lock em up state!

I don’t know who this kid is, but NO ONE should spend time in jail for pot.
Marijuana has significantly less health hazards than cigarettes and is not nearly as addictive. In fact, the AHA has in the past recommended it for more widespread medical use and a significant lowering of current criminal charges for minor use.
