Katie, Take A Cue From Suri! She’s Totally Put Together & You’re Looking Super Schlubby!
No offense Katie, but Joey Potter cleaned up nicer on prom night than you did for the Tony Awards!
Katie Holmes, I know you’re a multi-tasking mom on the go and it’s totally fine to look frazzled from time to time — but there’s no excuse to show up for a glam night out looking the way you did at the Tony Awards in NYC on Jun. 14! I have no doubt little Suri wouldn’t approve of your schlub style — even when she’s going out to play or just strolling around during the day, the mini fashionista is always accessorizing, and even puts on some lip gloss for added omph.
Don’t get me wrong — I liked the strapless Armani Prive get-up, (it’s hard to make those gorgeous gowns look bad on the red carpet), however, the star was far from glam! With minimal accessories, very light makeup, and a total bed head, she looked like she threw on the dress without even looking in the mirror, making the fabulous frock look ill-fitting and drab. The top did nothing for her chest — I was just waiting for Katie to spill out. And, to make matters worse, the awkward length revealed a poor choice of footwear, too! Katie, if you had added some statement jewelry and glammed up your beauty routine you would have given the gorg gals in attendance a run for their money — instead you looked more plain jane than sleek and chic!
You may think I’m being hard on the A-lister, but I wouldn’t be so tough on the star if I didn’t think she had to potential to wow! I wish Katie would take a cue from stylish little Suri — she mixes prints, has an affinity for hair wear, and a covetable shoe collection. Every time she steps out she’s getting noticed and turning heads, while her mom just blends in to the background. Considering Suri storms the streets like they’re her own personal runway, I hope Katie shows up ready to rock the red carpet the next time she steps out! What do you think? Do you agree with me and think Suri way more stylish than Katie, or am I being too harsh on the multi-tasking mom?

Suri is a little doll and I give her Katie credit for encouraging her to wear what makes her comfortable. I’m thinking Katie’s doing the same thing for herself.

The dress is too short and the hair weird for a gown like that – it should have been pulled back in a high bun – she isn’t an A lister except by marriage

You people do realize that Katie dresses her daughter. She is like every other mother, makes sure her child is perfect puts up with her husband and ends up with no time for her. But her little girl is not dressing herself, especially at this age. Katie has style, look at her daughter, she just needs to start focusing on herself a little more..

I have always thought Katie was one of the most beautiful girls in Hollywood, and severely under rated, and now with her longer hair, she is def , the Katie of old
Katie has never been over the top, in a place where everything and everybody is over the top.
The more glitzy the dress, the more open the dress, the more fake the hair and eyelashes, the more affairs, and implants are looked on as complimentary.
There are not many people around who have a natural sexiness without their plunging necklines, and showy photo spreads. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, she is not like that. Katie has never been glitzy, and I doubt she is going to start now, even though her huband has millions, because it’s just not Katie.

although i agree with lisa that katie is a knockout and doesn’t need clown makeup, she is a red carpet don’t in this attire. armani should not be proud. and, such a good call on the “awkward” length of the gown. was she afraid of tripping or something? it just looks so wrong- and does make her look frumpy… unless she’s pregnant, trying to hide a bump, in the first trimester exhaustion, and being overly cautious about falls b/c preggers, there is just no excuse for any of this. (but, yes, lisa, katie is gorgeous! that’s why we want her to play up her beauty a little more!)

I think Kate looks beautiful she doesnt never heavy clown make up and all that flash, Im glad to see she grew her beautiful long hair back, Kate could wear a garbage bag and be a knockout.
