EXCLUSIVE! Leonardo DiCaprio MUST Play A Superhero, Says Marvel Comics Creator

Marvel Comics founder Stan Lee thinks that it’s about time Leo became a caped crusader. Don’t you?
Hunky Leo DiCaprio has taken on every range of character from Howard Hughes to Romeo Montague, but (much to our chagrin) he’s never donned tight-fitting spandex to play a superhero. We think it’s about time — as does legendary Marvel Comics creator Stan Lee!
“I want Leo. Leo DiCaprio should be a superhero,” the 87-year-old creator of heroes like Iron Man, The Hulk and Captain America told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Activision E-3’s concert at the Staples Center in LA June 14. He added, “Leo NEEDS to be a superhero.”
We agree! But who should the 35-year-old Shutter Island star play?
Our money is on Havoc, the brother of X-Men’s Cyclops, or Phantom Rider, the western version of Ghost Rider (hey, Leo DID shoot the Quick and the Dead, after all!).

I would love to see DiCaprio as a supe, however, both choices you listed seem like terrible choices for an A-list actor. If Jeremy Renner wasn’t all but locked in as Hawkeye, I’d like Leo to play him. I think he’d make a good Daredevil when they end up rebooting that movie. He’s good at playing the hero in darker roles (Gangs of New York, The Departed, Shutter Island) and that’s essentially Daredevil in a nutshell.

He should play Mitchell Hundred in Ex Machina… seems like the right kind of project for Leo
