Cam wants you to know: Just because she finds herself attracted to a woman sexually, it doesn’t mean she’s a lesbian! Uh… what?
I’m a big fan of random, absurd comments from celebrities, but Cameron Diaz‘s interview in the July 2010 issue of Playboy has me at a loss for words. “I can be attracted to a woman sexually, but it doesn’t mean I want to be in love with a woman,” she tells the mag. “If I’m going to be with a woman sexually, it doesn’t mean I’m a lesbian. We put these restraints and definitions on people, but it’s hard to define.”
OK, I lied. I’m totally NOT at a loss for words.
What a weird thing to hear from someone like Cameron! She’s been romantically linked to so many guys — the most recent being her rumored boyfriend Alex Rodriguez — so this lady-love comment comes totally out of left field! (See what I did there? A-Rod, left field?) Maybe she’s hoping that an outrageous quote like this will shift people’s focus away from her romance with the New York Yankee.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Could Cameron could have a taste for lipstick lovin’, or is she just trying to throw us off her and A-Rod’s trail?

She’s straight – she’s just curious about being with a woman. I think we can all appreciate the attractiveness of our own sex, and even have a little crush. It doesn’t mean we want a long-term sexual or loving relationship. I understand, but she didn’t explain it fully.

Most women are bisexual…not in a long term “Marriage” kinda of way…but they like a little va jay jay now and then; and guys like it too, it’s like geting double of everything now and then for the cost of only one.

It means that she sometimes likes to be with women/finds herself attracted to women, sometimes not. Like just about everyone. This is not shocking at all, and has zero to do with A-Rod. Come on. Disco is right.

um sexuality is a social construct. monogoamy is not natural to all humans. and women tends to hold less rigid ideas about who they are attracted to. Its been researched and documented.
