Although her rep confirms to HollywoodLife.com that Kate Gosselin has NOT signed on to be the next Bachelorette, ABC president Steve McPherson think it’s an awesome idea!
Kate Gosselin danced her way to ratings victory on Dancing with the Stars, and now ABC seems happy to have her back to bring home the bacon — as the next Bachelorette!
“That could be great!” ABC President Steve McPherson said on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show this morning, June 16, adding, “She was great on Dancing (With The Stars).”
Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise creator Mike Fleiss agreed that it was a good idea, albeit one he hadn’t thought of before. “I guess it’s kinda interesting. I’ve never thought about it,” he said in response to Life & Style’s report that the 35-year-old mom of eight was soon going to be hunting for men on TV. “Seriously, it would have to be a special edition of the Bachelorette – I wouldn’t want to jump the shark.”
Sadly, pre-casting Kate to fill current Bach’lette Ali Fedotowsky‘s shoes appears to be exactly that. “Once and for all, there is no truth to the report…that Kate is doing a dating show for ABC, or that she is going to be the next Bachelorette. She is working on her two projects with TLC,” Kate’s rep confirms to HollywoodLife.com.
Boo! We’d love to see Kate get a good guy after being married to heinous hubby Jon Gosselin for 10 years. Don’t you?

The woman is trying to support her kids for heavens sake – give her a break. She probably learned some things “not to do” while married to freako Jon but look what she had to put up with – anyone would become bitchy….She deserves to have love in her life just like everyone else!

Kate on a dating show…….really? What man with a brain is going to want to date Kate after seeing how she treated her husband, and yeah it would be dating but she will still be a bitch! ABC sees Kate as a CASH COW!!!!!!!!! DWTS they liked the ratings she brought in, but people watched dancing to see her fall flat on her face, and that didn’t happen but she has no rhythm, and did look funny dancing, which may have made up for her not seeing her fall on her face!!
Anyways TLC is the only TV channel to think that she is a entertaining celebrity get her off of cable and shes got nothin!
