Aww! R-Patz told Jay Leno today his dad emails him tips about how to treat women!
No wonder Kristen Stewart fell for Robert Pattinson — he learned the art of romancing straight from the master…his dad!
The 24-year-old Twilight star told Jay Leno June 15 his father is the one to thank for his charm with the ladies and that he instructed Rob via email to woo a woman by kissing her hands. “That’s how I won your mom,” Rob’s dad explained.
Dressed in a striking gray suit, white shirt and black skinny tie, R-Patz was easy-going and relaxed as he told Jay about how dependent he is on his dad — who was proudly sitting in the audience with Rob’s mom.
Rob even told a story about how his car dashboard caught on fire once while he was driving and he had to call his dad for advice!
When Jay asked how Mr. and Mrs. Pattinson feel about their son’s nude scenes in his upcoming film, Bel Ami, Rob laughed and said it’s nothing they haven’t seen before.
The only awkward part of the show was when Jay’s other guest, Emma Roberts, said she is Team Jacob. “You’ve revealed yourself to have no taste,” Rob replied.

Rob’s retort (10 points for the sparkling delivery) was the only amusing bit in that interview. Honestly, niece of Julia Roberts, one would think that with your family connections, you’d be accustomed to being the last noticed in the room.
You came across as a boring little diva and for no good reason. Should have gone on Letterman Rob !!
