Tori Spelling's Husband Dean McDermott In Intensive Care After Motorcycle Accident!

Tori says he’s in tons of pain, but expected to make a full recovery!

Oh no! 43 year-old Dean McDermott, husband to Tori Spelling, 37, was rushed to the hospital June 29 with a punctured and collapsed lung after he crashed his dirt bike while out riding with his friends. “He’s in a lot of pain,” Tori tells People, but he’s expected to make a full recovery!

“His friend called me and said he was in the ER,” Tori recalls of how she first found out about the accident. “He didn’t want to scare me so he just said he had a crash and that they were X-raying him.”

“At first I was mad,” she says. “I was pissed that he was out biking and crashed. But when I showed up and saw him lying there, and they told me they were admitting him to ICU with a collapsed lung, my heart dropped. My biggest fear had come true.”

And this isn’t the first time this year Dean has gotten in an motorcycle accident (his first accident resulted in a fractured shoulder bone), so “he’s taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life,” Tori adds.

After the first accident, Dean promised to give up racing his bikes professionally and that it would remain only a hobby. But now, he swears to give up riding completely.

“When I first saw him he just softly said ‘I’m so sorry,’” Tori says. “I just held his hand and cried. That’s when he said, ‘I’ll never do this again. You and the kids mean everything to me!’”

Tori and Dean, stars of the Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, are also parents to two small children: Liam, 3, and Stella, 2.
