Elin Nordegren Wins $100 Million Divorce Settlement From Tiger Woods, Must Sign Confidentiality Agreement!

It appears Elin will be taking home significantly less than the reported $750 million she was set to make in her divorce from Tiger Woods!
It looks like the divorce proceedings between Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods are finally coming to an end, though the Swedish model will be taking home somewhat less than what was first reported. TMZ reports, “Elin will snag about $100 million in the settlement … way more than she was entitled to under the prenup.” This amount pales in comparison however to the intial figure floating around of $750 million.
As another point of the settlement, Elin will have to sign a confidentiality agreement. Reports say the couple, “agreed to a confidentiality clause as part of their divorce settlement. So Elin can’t go on Oprah, she can’t do interviews, she can’t write a book.”
It seems like Tiger will shell out as much money as possible to assure none of the messy details of the couple’s separation become public!

From quotes from Elin’s friends/confidantes, Elin is not the type who would feel comfortable disclosing any personal information about her life with Tiger. That is the opinion I have had of her from the beginning of all this. There are WAY too many people who would be willing to do that regardless if what they say is true or not. Elin has been nothing but “Grace under Fire” since this has been going
on.

I agree with beth ann. CLB obviously has some HUGE issues and needs to step back and take a serious look at themselves. Being so totally obsessed with someone else’s marriage and private life is majorly weird, not to mention unhealthy.
As for Elin Woods, I’d say the $100 million amount, if true, is a great settlement amount for her. The state of Florida will require Tiger to pay monthly support for their children, regardless of the lump sum settlement amount Elin receives for her personal income, so the $100 million amount (if true) is all gravy for Elin.
On one hand I think $100 mil is a bit more than Elin should receive because of the prenup she willingly signed and because Tiger Woods had already been the World #1 for more than 3 years and had earned well over $300 million when he married Elin in 2004; but on the other hand: between dealing with the media constantly probing into and then publicizing every single painful aspect of her personal life; and dealing with unhinged members of the public constantly commenting online about her private life situation and trying to tell her what to do, the $100 million amount (if correct) could be considered well earned. And no matter what happens in their lives in the future I wish Elin, Tiger, and their two children good health, peace, and happiness for each of them.

Could not agree more – hope these two find peace down the road after everything has settled. As I said in one of my replies to CLB, perhaps Tiger wants Elin to have that much of a settlement to make sure she and the children are well taken care of in the future, and perhaps he is feeling guilty for all he did to her. Despite all the Tiger haters (and you all know who you are) I think Tiger still cares for Elin and she has said numerous times that Tiger sincerely loves his children and wants to spend time with them.

The problem with you and all Tiger’s die hard fans is that you are deaf, blind and dumb to accept the thuth about Tiger who is nothing but a very troubled man with serious emotional and character issues.Thank God that Elin and the children are out of there,free to enjoy life again!!!!

We are none of the things that you called us. We all know what Tiger did to Elin and are in no way condoning what he did. What we are commenting on is the irrational way you are viewing all of this as though Tiger did it to you personally.
I understand how you can be upset, but you are taking it to the extreme – unless your name is Elin Woods, this really does not concern you in any way shape or form.

Elin Nordegren deserves a substantial divorce settlement amount since Tiger Woods is demanding from Elin a lifetime of silence. Tiger is the one who caused irreparable damage to the marriage and the dissolution of the family unit with his adulterous, reckless and irresponsible behavior. Tiger Woods humiliated his wife in front of the world and caused his family enough hurt, pain and suffering that will last them for the rest of their lives! Tiger Woods used his wife and children to earn millions from sponsors projecting a false image of integrity as a devoted husband and family man, while living a sordid secret life. Tiger, reportedly, had unprotected sex with multiple promiscuous partners, potentially exposing Elin to life threatening conditions such as STD, HIV, hepatitis, herpes, uterine cancer, etc. Some of these conditions can be dormant and could take years to show up. It is very wise of Elin to demand that Tiger never expose their children to any future female companions ”unless he is married to said person.” I commend Elin for being a caring and loving mother and for her great courage, dignity and class during this horrid time in her life. I wish Elin and her precious children all the best for the future!!!
