BREAKING: Lindsay Lohan Sentenced To 90 Days In Jail — Stay Tuned!

Lindsay Lohan made it to court looking good and determined to get her life back on track for today’s violation hearing. She’s still in court and by any measure it isn’t looking good for LiLo …
Here’s what’s gone down today in the Beverly Hills Courthouse:
READ LINDSAY LOHAN’S STATEMENT TO THE JUDGE:
“I wasn’t expecting any special treatment aside from the understanding that I have to provide for myself, I have to work. My schedule is, unfortunately, very different. Having said that, I did do everything I was told to do and did the best I could to balance jobs and showing up.”
- Lindsay’s father Michael Lohan showed up to the hearing at 8:14AM, but will his support hurt or help Lindsay?
- Lindsay Lohan has showed up in a black suit with what appears to be a GREAT hair day! She’s come prepared to look good for the court. No drinks in hand! 8:19AM – The early bird gets the worm!
- It’s a celebrity filled court at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, Danny Devito has arrived for Jury Duty. Talk about bad timing!
- Michael Lohan has attempted to address the court, the judge has denied the request but is happy to accept his statement via letter form. Only if we were all that lucky!
- Judge Marsha Revel has told prosecution (Danette Meyers) that today’s hearing will have no use for evidence on Lindsay’s alleged drinking and SCRAM bracelet violation during the MTV Movie Awards on June 7. The smile on Lindsay’s face would give the Joker a run for his money!
- Prosecution (Danette Meyers) has asked both Beeryl Washington, office manager of Right On, the program that Lindsay Lohan was attending and co-owner Cheryl Marshall to the stand.
- Beeryl Washington has stated that she was aware that Lindsay was to attend classes every week, which she did not.
- Cheryl Marshall has admitted that Lindsay Lohan has violated the program by not attending classes thanks to a vast amount of various excuses. Things aren’t looking very good for Lindsay right now! The prosecution is on fire right now!
- In August 2009, it was deemed Lindsay’s excuses were, “endless and disrespectful.” This was based on prosecution questioning of Cheryl Marshall on various excuses that Lindsay had made for missing regularly scheduled program meetings.
- Cheryl Marshall said on at least 9 different occasions Lindsay had missed mandatory alcohol education classes. The judge was never made aware of these mishaps.
- Lindsay Lohan looks like she’s going to fall asleep, she keeps writing notes and resting on her hands. And she even sneeked in a yawn. Not looking good for Lindsay, but its lunch, so we’ll see what happens next.
UPDATE: Lindsay just walked back in from lunch. Here we go again.
- Prosecutor Danette Meyers has continued her attack on if Lindsay has attended all of her alcohol education classes. She is still questioning Cheryl Marshall and Danette is questioning that the program is covering for her (Lindsay Lohan).
- Prosecutor Danette Meyers will be seeking Lindsay Lohan to attend jail for 30 days for violating her probation.
- Cheryl Marshall is still being grilled on the stand by both Prosecutor Danette Meyers and Judge Marsha Revel and Cheryl Marshall is clearly disheveled and unprepared. It’s not looking good for Lindsay.
- Lindsay is looking very concerned and writing endless notes as the testimony of Cheryl Marshall continues.
- Prosecutor Danette Meyers has ended her questioning of Cheryl Marshall.
- Shawn Chapman Holley is cross examining and trying to stop the bleeding. It doesn’t seem to be working.
- Lindsay Lohan is clearly frustrated visually on how things are going. She can tell things are not going well at all. The prosecutions case is going as well as it possibly can be going so far…
- Cheryl Marshall has been excused. Shawn Chapman Holley is now talking to the judge to make sure documents shouldn’t be released as it can be extremely harmful to Lindsay Lohan.
- Prosecutor Danette Meyers has given her final say on today’s events. She has clearly made the case that Lindsay Lohan has missed and violated her DUI probabtion. Lindsay Lohan is shell shocked and has started crying. It seems that the truth is beginning to hurt.
- Shawn Chapman Holley is now attempting to convince the judge that Lindsay Lohan has done everything in her power to complete the judge’s orders.
- Judge Marsha Revel has deemed that Lindsay Lohan has violated her probation.
- Lindsay Lohan is now talking to the judge, she has begun to cry while she is defending herself. “This is my life, I’m taking this seriously, this is my life and my career that I have worked all my life for.”
- Judge Marsha Revel is now talking about the multiple times Lindsay has lied to both the court, police and others on past alcohol and cocaine use.
-Lindsay Lohan sentenced to 90 days in jail. Followed by 90 days in inpatient rehab. She’s crying like crazy.
-Lindsay goes to jail July 20 at 8:30 a.m. Until then, she is required to wear her SCRAM bracelet.

Her attorney was fantastic, but she only had so much to work with. YOu’ve got to know going in it’s a losing proposition. Defense Attorneys aren’t required to get their clients ‘off’, only to ensure they have a fair trail and she did.
Why is no one commenting on that little “almost” statement Lindsay makes saying if she’d known what would happen, “I’d have taken it… ” what, more seriously? Mmhmm. The judge is right to call you a liar and say you didn’t take it seriously. Thank God ONE judge in LA isn’t starstruck and still looking out for the safety of the public and the best interests of LiLo – no one else seems to be.

here we a young lady who has been afforded every manner of consideration and respect and then some for both her profession and her name and has shunned

i still think she got off easy what in the world were they waiting for, the act of vehicular manslaughter to be committed for this woman to be taught a lesson
if she wants to kill herself fine i have no second thoughts about that!! but why should an innocent life be snuffed out because of her recklessness. and another family be put through that pain. she has thumbed her nose at the law and has flipped her finger at both the judge
and the courts. and her mother has the unabashed nerve to say the sentence was not fair.she is very lucky she didn’t bite the bullet and was given a year or three very lucky!! both her parent’s should be ashamed of themselves for thinking that this is ok behavior. she is not a teen and should be taught a lesson anyone else would have gotten at least three years why shouldn’t she?

Lindsay you finally got what you deserved. If it was anyone else they would have had the book thrown at them a long time ago. Just because you are in movies and make millions does not mean you can get away with anything. Millions of young women would love to have the fame and fortune that you have, but you don’t seem to care or appreciate it, you have just thrown it all away. Your life started to get screwed up when you met Samantha. Look, don’t you see no one wants to work with you anymore, you are too much of a risk. Time to grow up if you want to save your career if there is a career left. Go to jail, do not pass go. Go to rehab, do not pass go. Then after that let the people decide if you are worth investing in or watching.

I think the judge wanted to give the prosecution the 30 days they asked for, and that is why he made it 90 days, knowing the jails are overcrowded and that she will be released “early”. But I think 30 actual days is what the judge intended, maybe.

holy cow it’s about damn time i thought they would wait until she got behind the wheal and had to actually killed someone to jail this spoiled selfish idiot of a brat!! and i don’t care what anyone says that’s exactly what she is!! a big gold star for the judge she ‘e lucky she didn’t get a year. i sure as hell would have given her at least that much!!

i wonder if the 90 days can be cut for good behavior. she just lost 6 months of her life (in the short term), tho hopefully in the long run this will save her life and add years when she starts living a healthier lifestyle. i’m hoping for the best for her. this was the best thing that could’ve happened, though, i am still somewhat shocked that the judge actually did it. again, WHERE WAS HER MOTHER? and what were ali and michael’s reactions?

I say three cheers for the Judge!!!
I don’t know this young brat of a woman and wouldn’t care less about her legal troubles but for the fact that I think it’s past time for these amoral, dim-witted, California don’t give a damn about law and order Hollyweirds to be dealt with as any other citizen should when they refuse to conform to what is decent and lawful behavior. I respect the Judge for taking off the kid-gloves and smacking her up beside the head. Perhaps the message will now get through her thick skull that no one (Including her or the pathological lying POS Kenyan-born usurper of the White House and Oval Office) is above the law.
Put me down for one more citizen and occasional movie goer who will never spend a penny to see a movie in which this brat stars (I made that same boycott commitment against Jane Fonda – and I’ve kept it for over three decades)and who also am unimpressed with her bawling in Court. One reaps what one sows, PERIOD.

I hope she gets jail time! For all the regular Joe’s and Jane’s of the world that get by far WORSE off than she, this should totally be a lesson for ALL! If she ACTUALLY is treated like a regular person, and NOT a celebrity that can just buy their way out of this, it would be GREAT. Besides, so many young people could see what can happen to a celebrity and ask themselves if what they are doing is healthy and worth getting into trouble over. For years celebrities have been getting off with a slap on the wrist….. while non celebrities have been getting the whip, over even more minor crap than what these rich and famous people pull off…. Judges SHOULD treat all the same…. that’s just my opinion though. If she had kids, I might think a tad, (just a TAD) differently, but she doesn’t. She has all the time in the world to screw up her life and not harm children, thank goodness.

great reporting russ! i haven’t had time to read much, but could she actually be sent to jail at the end of this hearing? which gets me to my next question, why isn’t her mother there and any thoughts on michael lohan’s reaction to all of this? is he hand drafting his letter to the court as we speak (lol)…

*gasp*! just when you think she can’t look worse… i understand dressing understated- but wtf with that outfit?!?! she looks like she’s headed to her job as a grocery clerk. and her lips are getting completely out of control. those have JUST been done. it almost looks like they were done just hours ago. wtf is on the inside of her arm? a cheat sheet for her lies? wow. somebody please lock her up b/c she needs something big to straighten her out. o.m.g. what happens to these people that are handled the world on a platter… and toss it aside. such a shame.
