Katy thinks Miley’s heading down a slippery slope. Do you agree?
Katy Perry calls it like she sees it. While hanging out backstage at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards on June 20, Katy reportedly had some choice words for the newly sexed-up Miley Cyrus, according to Life & Style. “Oh my God, poor girl,” Katy reportedly said backstage. “She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes.”
After someone asked Katy if she meant Miley would be going down the Lindsay Lohan route instead, Katy reportedly replied, “No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”
Yikes! At this point, it’s hard to say which route would be worse — walking around looking crazy like Britney, or facing 90 days in jail like Lindsay. Either way, we hope we don’t have yet another troubled pop star on our hands.

Katy may be garrish herself, but she is right. Katy is an adult…Miley has been getting racier over the past few years, and sure, she may want to shed the Disney image…but there has to be a better way than sleezy clothes and outlandish pole dancing – and who knows what else. If she does all the things and wears all the racy clothes adult females wear, what is left when she is 25, 30, etc? Morals in Hollywood leave a lot to be dsired. I guess it is foolish of us to be surprised at all for anything they do..
I wouldn’t call her a whore, that is just mean. She and LiLo…sad business.

How do stage costumes make someone a whore?? being provocative isnt the same as being a whore. Not to mention you bring up her age… because the laws in our country are written that on your 18th birthday (regardless of your life experiences or your maturity level) you are deemed an adult, when in fact many people evolve much quicker and some slower. It is just a marker that was chosen and imposed. I am certain that Miley’s outlook on life and the experiences she has had make her very much an adult. And there is nothing wrong with that; she is 17.
