Gossip Girl star Taylor says “I’m not looking to be Miley f***ing Cyrus” and calls Miley’s music “bubblegum s**t.” WHOA.
Taylor Momsen has her claws out for Miley Cyrus! In the new issue of FHM, the Gossip Girl starlet says she hates being compared to Miley, whose music she calls “pathetic.” Um, tell us how you REALLY feel, Taylor!
“I’m not looking to be Miley f**king Cyrus. I don’t care about the fame,” the 16-year-old Pretty Reckless singer says. ” I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we’ll go along for the ride. I’m not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum s**t that the world is living right now is pathetic.”
But Taylor didn’t stop there, oh no. “I thought we passed that repression,” she said. “I don’t know Miley, but musically we’re different. To compare us because of our age is silly.”
Well, shucks, Tay, how silly of US to draw comparisons! Two 16-year-old singers/TV stars, both of whom wear too little clothing and both of whom “can’t be tamed?” At least Miley got rid of the ropey hair extensions. Just saying.
Unfortunately, Taylor isn’t the only pop tart to diss Miley lately. “California Gurl” Katy Perry trashed Ms. Hannah Montana at the MuchMusic Awards June 20, calling her “Britney Spears all over again.” Ouch. Now THAT one hurts..

what i find funny is the fact that taylor dissed disney and the hannah montana franchise but a few years ago when disney was auditioning girls for the show taylor went for the role of hannah and when it just the two of them disney chose miley instead of taylor

It is so sad to see that that adorable kid from the grinch turned into a foul mouthed, mean spirited little jerk. Whats with these parents? if I EVER talked to or about someone like that, behaved or dressed the way they do, my dad would have yanked me out of the spotlight so fast my head would have been spinning. If their parents would only take alittle control back and see what this money grubbing life is turning their beautiful little girls into, maybe they would put a stop to it, until the girls were LEGALLY old enough to go out on their own..and by then, heaven willing, they would be totally irrelevant.

When you are 16, you do and say stupid things like both these girls have in the past, present and probably future. But Taylor Momsen’s music with the pretty wreckless is REALLLY GOOOOD! I was shocked! She seems to take her music more seriously than Miley, who admits to hating and never listening to pop music, potentially not understanding that that is the type of music that she makes.
Taylor’s music is much better, IMO, but she is just as naive as Miley.
