Not one to normally serve any interests other than his own, Michael goes on Nick Cannon’s radio show and makes some pretty smart points about his daughter’s jail sentence!
It is the day I never thought would actually come — I agree with Michael Lohan! The fame whoring father who almost never, ever, makes any sort of valid point says he thinks if his daughter Lindsay Lohan heads to rehab now she may avoid jail, as opposed to trying to appeal the judges decision without doing so.
Michael told Nick Cannon on 92.3 NOW, “I think if she does this and files an appeal, maybe the judge will reverse this and say, ‘OK, go to the rehab first. And if you complete it and do it the right way and get off everything you’re on, then maybe there won’t be any jail.’”
How is it that amidst all the lawyers and family around this girl it is her estranged father who is making the most sense. Maybe he really does have her best interest at heart.
Now I am not sold on Michael yet by a long shot, but this is a pretty good start.

She should go to jail first, then rehab, but, someone has to get her off the prescriptions, its freaking crazy for her to even go to rehab still taking those drugs.

oh btw, if she does rehab first why should she not go to jail.the jail time is for violation. shes proved she can do without it for a couple months,big deal.she broke probation a few times and got away with it. thats her problem, she thinks her statis of being lindsay lohan is above the law. i think the judge was right. and if she backs down now, it will only prove linsay right. to go to court with fu on her nails,come on ,thats a slap in the face to any judge. she got what she deserved……

you know something,i have never seen a more fame hungry family in my life.each one of them do anything they can for a buck.the father all of a sudden thinks he has got the right stuff. the mother wants to be 20, and the daughterali is in line to be another teen lost in hollywood.linsay should divorce her parents and file restraining orders on both.stay the hell away. they put so much drama on her , id drink to. you know there has not been a day in two years that the lohans have not been in the tabloids.stop talking about them, taking pictures,letting them speak,stop there money flow. give us a break for gods sake.

Please take her father out of this game. What is the most important? her fame or her life. Her father is trying to save her fame by opposing the jail sentence. She is young and confused girl. I believe, for her own good, she needs to be deal seriously, send her to the real rehab, not celebrity rehab. She should be sentenced like others in her position to the longer term of serving time in jail, “again not celebrity jail”. Do whatever needed, to save her life , or she might not see the end of this year or not will be with us in coming year, and this is not going to be fare to her. never forget, this is her life and in this junction she could not make a good decision for her own. The only tough love could save and help her.

She Wont Do Much Time It Is To Much Of A Hassel To Lock up a supper star like her she is a pretty lady that did nothing to be looked up for i hope that she is fine i think she is a great girl that has been done bad by the police .
