Get ready because this scandal just got a little more scandalous! Senator John Edwards’ sordid affairs will now become the basis for a film!
John Edwards seemed like the man who had it all: A beautiful wife, family, and the possibility of becoming the 44th President of the United States. But he threw it all away when he cheated on his loyal wife of 33 years Elizabeth Edwards, 61, while she was battling breast cancer. John, 61, fathered a love-child, Francis Quinn, 2, with Rielle Hunter, a film producer who he met on the campaign trail. Nikki Finke at Deadline.com, reports West Wing creator, Aaron Sorkin will make the film based on the book The Politician, by John’s former aide, Andrew Young, 44.
“This is a first hand account of an extraordinary story filled with motivations, decisions and consequences that would have lit Shakespeare up,” says Aaron in a statement. “There is much more to Andrew’s book than what has been reported and I am grateful that he’s trusting me with it.”
