It looks like it was not just love that gave Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston the strength to announce their engagement to the world on the cover of US Weekly, it was also the $100,000 the couple were paid. That’ll buy you a lot of hunting gear! Page Six reports, Our sources estimate Us Weekly paid $100,000 to Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston for the story on their engagement. The cash not only bought an exclusive interview with the couple, but also screwed competitor People. The single mom gave interviews to both magazines, but didn’t tell People about the engagement or that they’d hidden their reconciliation from Sarah Palin.”
Mom Sarah Palin, while surely surprised, should in some way be proud to know she is not the only member of her family taking money for something no one really wants to read about!
Oh, and Bristol is also learning how to become a great liar! Well, except she got caught. She told People that same week of her and Levi, “We’re not totally back together, but I’m not ruling it out . . . I don’t want to get into what’s in store for our future because, who knows?” Just displaying some more of that amazingly aspirational, family values lifestyle of hers!

The engagement seems more like a contrived opportunity to make money more than anything that’s actually real…ie a reality show! Sarah Palin has made millions from her incompetence, ignorance and lack of knowledge. She is a role model for her children to do the same.

I ALSO SARAH PALIN DOESNT KEEP MAKING MILLIONS ON HER STORIES AND SHOWS….THIS IS NOTHING BUT PENNIES COMPARED TO SARAH PALIN AND HER TOTAL. B.S. SHE HAS MADE MILLIONS ON. Actually, US Weekly came out and said that they didn’t pay them $100,000. As for People, they only got engaged two weeks ago and they do these interviews in advance. It’s possible she did People ahead of time, although I’m not sure.
