You’ve been waiting for this Bones couple to get together for EVER! But unfortunately, BFFs, the show’s stars say it’s never going to happen!
We hope this is a joke! We’ve been waiting for a Booth and Brennan romance to happen for AGES on Bones, but the show’s stars say risking their onscreen relationship isn’t worth the risk! Are they joking?
Read on to hear what Emily Deschanel (Brennan) and David Boreanaz (Booth) – who showed up at the San Diego event July 22 although he is currently being sued for sexually harassing a Bones extra – had to tell us today at Comic Con, BFFs!
HL – So, based on the information that there is a new love interest on the show for Booth, are Booth and Bones going to start dating or do you think when things are all said and done, it’s not worth it?
CROWD: BOOO!!!
Emily Deschanel – It’s just not worth it…
David Boreanz – It’s just not worth it… OK Let’s just end the show…BYE!
Hart Hanson (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER) – After 9 seasons we’ll go, Oh it was never worth it! I think everything happens eventually.
DB – Yeah, it’s a journey, you got to look at it, where the two characters are, how they identify with each other. how they help each other out, they have always been there for each other and they take chances and trust one another, they need to find some space sometimes, as they did going into season six. And I think the unique thing about it is they’ll be able to connect on a whole different level and a deeper level, even though they maybe somebody involved, they’ll just get closer, they always get there. It’s a hard question to answer. People say, will they or won’t they? I don’t know?
HH – I think what people really want to know is when? And we’re not saying!
ED - I think we should do a thing were we see from the audience how many people want to see Booth and Bones together, and then will ask who doesn’t want them together.
So, how many people want Booth and Bones to get together
CROWD – THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE
ED – How many people don’t want to see them get together?
CROWD – MEDIUM APPLAUSE
DB – How many people just don’t care? (LAUGHTER)
ED – How many people like cheese?
CROWD – THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE
HH – Eventually everyone wants them to get together.
ED – No, I don’t know how I see that question.. But in general…
DB – In general, not this season!

Psh Booth and Bones belong and they have to get together eventually. They are like Peanut Butter and Jelly, they just belong! I vote HELL YESS!!

The whole “will they” or “won’t they” thing really is becoming TIRESOME. They’ve been messing with us since day one. I’ve watched every.single.episode. Been a big fan since day one. But I can honestly say that the show hasn’t been the same since season 3. The whole dynamic has changed. Instead of Brennan being more “humanized” she is more scientific and passes off as the high all mighty persona. The writers and producers need to do something quick before viewers loose interest.
