In the creepy song she released on her album last year, Mel Gibson’s estranged girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, warbled about wishing she was in Russia and “safe from harm!”
How’s this for a case of life imitating art? Mel Gibson’s estranged baby mama, Oksana Grigorieva, foreshadowed her own domestic abuse in a song she released LAST YEAR!
On the track “Evening with Daddy,” the 40-year-old Russian pianist sings, “I wish I wasn’t spending the evening with Daddy / And I don’t have a penny to call my own. I wish I wasn’t spending the evening with Daddy / But he’s good to the ladies who’s on his arm/I wish I was
somewhere in Russia at the feet of my mother / Safe from harm.”
‘Evening with Daddy’ is the fourth track on Oksana’s album Beautiful Heartache, which Mel, 54, executive produced in 2009. The couple is currently bitterly fighting for custody of their eight-month-old daughter, Lucia. Oksana claims Mel abused her in front of the baby, and he claims she tried to extort him for money and sole custodial rights.

The Evening with Daddy music video was made in January 2009 in Mexico, before she was even pregnant with Mel’s baby, and the song was written before that–so I doubt this was a cry for help unless it is a general pattern she had with men in the past…
But, hey, how about her lyrics from the song “Beautiful Heartache”–maybe they are a reflection of her life then and now: “There are no lies I wouldn’t tell, no possessions I wouldn’t sell, no chains I wouldn’t wear, no cross I wouldn’t bear…Yes, I would do anything, commit any crime, if I could spend the night with you, just one night…” Just takes one night to make that baby. Hmmmm…..
