We love it! Our favorite gorgeous geek takes on seven evil ex-boyfriends in order to woo his crush in this comic book-inspired action movie!

Michael Cera first won us over with his vulnerable and awkward performance in the award-winning indie, Juno – and now he’s back on the big screen to save our day in a totally out-of-character role…the action hero!

In Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, the 22-year-old actor plays a dorky kid who falls in love with a tough girl named Ramona (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and gets thrown into an alternate reality – comic book-world – when he decides to win her affections. In order to date Ramona, Scott has to beat all of her seven ex-boyfriends in battle, no mean fete given that he’s clearly a lover and NOT a fighter.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World mixes action with sarcastic wit and humor AND stars not only cutie pie Michael Cera, but one of our favorite Twilight stars, Anna Kendrick. We absolutely cannot wait until it hits theaters Aug. 13!
