The Red Carpet Copycat Strikes Again! Angelina Jolie Channels Jen Aniston’s Sexy Slit Style In A Black Dress At The ‘Salt’ Premiere!

If it happened once or twice I would be willing to call it a coincidence, but Angie seems to be re-creating all of Jen’s recent red carpet moments!
Everyone likes to pity Jennifer Aniston, but it seems like the one who’s really hung up on the love triangle surrounding Angie’s current partner, Brad Pitt, is Angelina Jolie herself! First there was the sequin mini she wore to the Salt premiere in LA on Jul. 19, before she stepped out in yet another similar get-up just days later at Comic-Con on Jul. 23 in San Diego. While most of you think it’s just a coincidence, Angie turned up in Tokyo for the Salt premiere last night in this asymmetrical black Versace dress, complete with a seriously sexy slit that instantly reminded me of Jen’s leggy Valentino she wore to the Golden Globes! Do you still think this is just a coincidence? I think not!
So why would Angie be channeling Jen? “To me it feels more like a ‘screw you’ than an insecure situation,” says relationship expert Cooper Lawrence. “I think it’s a bit of a private joke to her – let me dress like Jen to get a reaction. I think Angelina actually does things to get people interested and to keep talking about her Brad and Jen as a threesome. There’s something kinky about it, she likes the attention and she also thinks it’s funny,” says Lawrence, who is also the author of the Cult of Celebrity.
Nevertheless, I don’t think she can look as effortlessly sexy on the red carpet like Jen! What do you think?

Again, a gross lack of reseach is evident in the subjective commentary of this article. Perhaps you should check out the comments about how JA shouldn’t have worn that dress, her legs too short and the style not designed for the shorties like JA, she’s what 5ft.3, 5.4 max and those muscular, bike riders legs were considered more manly than feminine. Hey, that’s just what the fashion experts had to say at the time. Compare to Ange’s thigh high split at the Inglorious Bastards premier in Germany, she rocked the world with that look, her legs are impossibly long and slim. Vanity Fair showcased Ange again in black leather mini shorts and midriff top with lace up boots, super sexy. You will never see a genuine shot of jennifer aniston standing next to Angelina, she would look like a brown pudding next to Ange. Oh yes, I’m jealous as hell of Ange but that doesn’t mean I’m going to deny she’s stunning, I’d look ridiculous and petty.

Are you serious? I am sure with her six kids, Angie isn’t sitting around trying to copy Jen’s dresses. Angie looks fabulous in anything she wears, while Jen looks desperate every time she goes out. There has to be some reason she doesn’t have a man in her life. Vince Vaugnn even got married and is having a baby. Stop the madness!! Angie doesn’t want to look like Jen. She can carry any outfit. She’s a strong woman.

This is such a lie. Angelina were a high split dress at Cannes May 2009. Months before Jennifer ever did. Besides every other actress has been wearing that kind of dress the last couple of years.

Seriously, is this the best HL could come up with?? It’s like a really bad re-run or a movie that keeps making sequels when they should have stopped with the first. Please go back to the drawing board and find something a litle more creative than comparing these two. Most HWood actress’s where similar dress styles and copy each other…and?

Angie wore that style dress in peach long before Jennifer Aniston, so who is copying who, Jen’s next premier you are going to see her copy all of Angies’s gowns she has been doing monkey see monkey do with Angie forever and the world knows it. Angie always looks better because she has longer legs, Jens legs look stompy and fat!!

I agree 1000% with Anon! You’d think these two were the first actresses to ever wear a similarly styled dress but because of the tired and played out connection between the two women, they choose to use it to fuel the “my idol is better than yours” crap spouted by the ‘team Jolie/team Aniston’ limeys as is evident by the response from Gloraad and the others who I’m sure will venture on here to bad-mouth one actress or the other as if their own livelihood depended on it.
It’s so weak. Both women are beautiful and talented in their own right and I just thank GOD that this tabloid fungus doesn’t have the punch to change any of that for EITHER actress.
