- 28-year-old Amy Carter married 28-year-old computer consultant Jim Wentzel in a low key ceremony in Plains, Ga.
- Attended by 140 friends and family

Caroline Kennedy: “Most Like Chelsea’s”
- The 28-year-old daughter of Jackie O. and John F. Kennedy married 41-year-old Ed Schlossberg at the Church of Our Lady of Victory in Centerville, Mass.
- Lavish pre-wedding events took place, including a bridal dinner for 100 at the Hyannis Port Club
- The bride wore a white silk organza gown with a long waist, short sleeves, a twenty-five-foot train, and rounded neck designed by Carolina Herrera
Jenna Bush: “Most Under the Radar”
- The daughter of sitting president George Bush and Laura Bush got hitched to former White House aide Henry Hager at a down home wedding at the Bush family ranch in Crawford, Texas
- 200 friends and relatives attended the nuptials, but the details of the wedding were kept securely under wraps
- Dad was proud: “Our little girl Jenna married a really good guy, Henry Hager. The wedding was spectacular, all we could have hoped for,” President Bush told reporters afterwards.
John F. Kennedy, Jr and Carolyn Bessette: “Most Elegant”
- The bride wore a sleek Narciso Rodriguez gown
- Small ceremony on exclusive Cumberland Island, a secluded Georgia barrier island
- Even family was in the dark: ‘I think it was, from what we heard, very small,” cousin Patrick Kennedy, who was not invited, said.
Tricia Nixon: “Most Presidential”
- In the only White House Rose Garden wedding in history, the daughter of Richard and Pat Nixon married Harvard Law student Edward Finch Cox
- The fiercely private Amy had 400 guests
- The dress was created by famed wedding gown designer John R. Burbidge
Luci Baines Johnson: “Most Unfortunate”
- At 19, Luci Baines Johnson married Patrick John Nugent in a high-profile wedding at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
- The bride wore a gown by Priscilla of Boston
- The couple later divorced and Luci remarried
Lynda Johnson: “Most Regal”
- The introverted daughter married Captain Charles “Chuck” Robb, a marine officer and leader of the White House color guard at the White House
- Seven bridesmaids wore floor-length red gowns
- Lynda’s gown was designed by Geoffrey Beene

Chelsea Clinton was certainly a beautiful bride. She just looks so happy in the photos that have been published. And there’s something serene in her looks as well. I thought that added beauty to her face that I’d not seen, or perhaps noticed, before.
BUT, in my opinion Mrs. Clinton was the big surprise. It’s an old saying that all brides are beautiful and I’ve found that to be so. I was (for lack of a better word) astonished at that one picture of the Clintons with the newly married couple! Hillary looked prettier than I’d ever seen her. She should wear her hair swept back from her face all the time, and surely incorporate that plum/mauve color into her wardrobe. Kudos to her and her stylists for the big day.
As for FPOTUS, Bill Clinton, he always looks better with a little less weight on him … but if he loses too much his nose doesn’t fit his face! But, not to be so critical, the photo of him walking his daughter down the aisle is lovely.
