The funny man and star of The Other Guys strikes out when trying score a laugh from his sons.

If you ask most people whether they think Will Ferrell is funny, the answer you’ll get is, “Absolutely.” But if you ask two of Will’s three sons, Magnus, 6, and Mattias, 3, (little Axel is just seven months old, so he’s not talking yet), the answer isn’t quite as definite. “Every time I ask, ‘Do you think I’m funny?’ They’re like, ‘Not really,’” he told HollywoodLife.com at the New York premiere of The Other Guys.

He also loses out on the cool factor with his boys. “They think I’m a normal dad,” the 43-year-old actor said with a shrug. “They don’t think I’m cool.”

Don’t worry about it, Will! We think you’re cool and hilarious!
