For some celebrity couples it’s true love, whereas for other famous pairs it’s just the plain old love of fame. Take a look at some of Hollywood’s real-est, and fakest, celebrity romances!

Sometimes you can’t help but look at a couple and wonder, “Why are they together?” And nowhere does this happen more often than the wild world of celeb romances. Maybe the couple met on-set and want to drum up publicity for their new project (like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens), or maybe each half of the couple just wants to appear desirable (like Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler) but don’t want an actual mate. At the same time, we still have couples like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and, of course, Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky who seem to be more in love every time we see them! Body language expert Patti Wood has a lot to say about who is really involved with each other, and who just loves the publicity that a relationship brings them!

“If you look at the smiles of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi you notice that their smile lines are long up and exaggerated with tension in their faces,” Patti states. Meanwhile, according to Patti, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are far more well-suited for each other: “Ali and Roberto look much more like a real couple. Notice how they’re standing in what I call the ‘love V,’ with the feet, torsos and hearts angled into each other and their arms around each other.” Hmm…sounds like love to us!
