If Principal Figgins gets his way, he’ll be wearing a red leather jacket and having an epic knife battle on the MJ tribute episode of Glee this season!

When rumors spread that the Glee cast would be paying tribute to Michael Jackson this season, our heads almost imploded with joy – the song choice possibilities were endless! But after talking to a few of the hit Fox show’s cast members, we’re fairly certain we know ONE song that’s certain to appear!

“Oh man, [I’d love to see us perform] Beat It of course, because I used to dance to that song in college,” Iqbal Theba, 46, who plays long-suffering McKinley High principal Mr. Figgins, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Melanie Segal’s T.J. Maxx-sponsored Teen Choice suite August 5. He added, “I have some really fond memories, and I would like to dance to that song. I don’t know if they would let me but I would love to do something like that.”

Agrees Iqbal’s co-star Josh Sussman (geeky Jacob Ben Israel) of what song he’d like to see performed, “That’s a tough one! Beat It is fun. I’d like to do that.”

Let the moonwalking, crotch grabbing, sequined glove countdown begin, BFFs!
