Katie Holmes opens up on her super stylish daughter who she says helps her pick out outfits!
Suri Cruise has become a fashion magnet at the mere age of four, and in a new interview, mom Katie Holmes reveals she even designs her own clothes! Katie told New York magazine, “I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up. And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, ‘I want this sleeve cut,’ and it’s like, ‘Okay, we’ll cut it.’”
Katie goes on to say Suri has been picking out her own clothes since she was one-and-a-half and that it may be her love of fashion design that is rubbing off on her daughter. “I started making clothes for Suri when she was born, designing dresses, and then having seamstresses sew them, because I don’t sew very well,” Katie said. “As a child, I was always drawing clothes, and I’ve always loved fabrics, and when Suri was born, I wanted to have certain things be from me and created just by me for her.”
Suri is also not shy to hide her opinion on other peoples style it seems, she even helps mom Katie pick out clothes! “Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn’t planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, ‘Okay, I trust you.’”

The clothes may be expensive but she usually looks like a ragamuffin..street urchin…sloppy mess

Her feet hurt from the high heels and she prob has blisters on her feet because she rarely wears socks or tights

then they wonder why hollywood kids grow up to be out of control, smh they giving that girl to much power @ 4 its not what she wants to wear its w.e you pick out, cutting sleeves, she needs to read a book.

I think Suri is cute, but they give in to her to much. As for Katie designing her clothes,so what. Our Mom designed ALL our outfits,plus she made them. She was a wonderful seamstress. We had friends who bought their clothes @ the best shops, the IN shops,but they wanted ours. They would complain we always had one of a kind. This was true.
The comment Katie made about Suri Made her wear the red dress & blue shoes. How does a 2yr old MAKE an adult do anything. Tom has made this comment also. I think she throws a fit & they give into her. Just to shut her up. With the other 2 children being so much older than Suri, I’m sure they give into her also. If this story is true, so what. She’s just another 4yr old, whose parents belong to a cult. BIG WHOO. If they ALL don’t watch they will have a full blown brat on their hands. They probably have already from the way she MAKES every one do what she wants.
By the way my son has been picking out HIS clothes since he was around 2. He’s 26 now, & everyone still loves his style.
