Gisele stirred up some serious controversy when she said breastfeeding should be made into a worldwide law — and now yet another celebrity mom is jumping on the backlash bandwagon!
We’re pretty sure you never meant to cause this much controversy, Gisele Bundchen, but unfortunately your provocative statement about breastfeeding has women around the world in a furor! Modern Family star Julie Bowen is just the latest Hollywood mom to fight back against the Brazilian supermodel’s desire to create a “breastfeeding law.”
“That’s a little dramatic,” the 40-year-old actress, who gave birth to twins John and Gus last May, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Crest 3-D White’s Breakthrough of the Year Awards August 15. “I’m a big live and let live-r. Seriously [do it], if it works for you, if it’s easy. If it wasn’t easy, I wouldn’t have done it. Some people can’t do it physically…so don’t do it.”
We know how Julie feels about breastfeeding – she’s all for it! The blond bombshell showed George Lopez a photo of herself feeding both twins at once back in May, and likened the experience to a “liposuction machine”, saying that she had breastfeeding to thank for eliminating her post-baby birth weight.
Previously our own editor-in-chief, Bonnie Fuller, fought back against Gisele’s statement, calling her “public enemy #1.” Real Housewives of NYC star Bethenny Frankel has also said, “It’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard of. Breastfeeding is one of the most rewarding experiences, but it isn’t for everyone.”

bonnie you’re crazy… julie could care less, i’m sure she was just answering a question about gisele’s comment (which you’re blowing wayyy out of proportion btw) and i know you’d like to think that you have all these celebrities on your “side” but the truth is you are the only person who cares or talks about this breastfeeding thing anymore, and nobody is joining your crusade. so put down your torch and pitchfork, and just accept the fact that Gisele’s opinion offended you and nobody else…

yea i have gone on other sites and no one is talking about this…. its even worse when all the people you have come out against gisele breastfed their kids!! it seems like they thought breastmilk was better than “chemical” too!!
