Hilary’s made a lot of money herself, but her hubby is the heir to a $500 million fortune!
OMG! It’s possible Hilary Duff, 22, and her new husband 29-year-old NHL player Mike Comrie signed a $500 million pre-nuptial agreement prior to their 100-guest Santa Barbara wedding Aug. 14. “It was a totally amicable agreement,” a source tells the New York Post. “They love each other very much and knew this was just a technicality.”
The alleged amount on the agreement is due to Mike’s wealthy background. Bill, Mike’s father, started Canadian retail giant The Brick. The Comrie family’s net worth is said to be around $500 million.
That’s not to say Hilary hasn’t made a small fortune of her own. Between her starring roles in movies like A Cinderella Story, her hit TV show Lizzie McGuire and her successful recording career, she was already taken care of before marrying Mike.
But even though the couple signed a pre-nup, they’ve never been shy about spending money. The diamond on Hilary’s engagement ring is worth a reported $1 million, and on her 20th b-day, Mike gave her a $100,000 Mercedes G-class SUV!
And speaking of money, a source close to the couple says Hilary and Mike’s wedding “was out of a storybook, costing well over half a million dollars!”

You fools. His family has $500 million fortune. He and Hilary did not sign a $500 prenup. There’s a big difference.
