Taylor Swift unveiled her latest album cover on June 18 for Speak Now. Featured in a flowy purple dress and showing just the right amount of skin for a teen idol we have to say that Taylor got the look just right.
Unfortunately we can’t say the same for Selena Gomez (who just released the album cover for A Year Without Rain) and Miley Cyrus, whose album Can’t Be Tamed, has been shamefully sitting on shelves for months now. Here’s the problem: Miley’s album cover, featuring the teenager in a belly baring leather outfit with a cranky face was just too gross for her audience! But Selena’s sickenly sweet cover was simply too boring.
We think that Taylor got it just right. She showed some skin. She smiled (big points for a smile)! But she didn’t come off too boring or childish. It’s a fine line for these young starlets and singers to walk and it;s good to know there’s a woman like Taylor out there to show them how to walk it.

I more intersting in the content that in the cover.
Miley’s album is great and really mature isn’t like the single. She writes her music and it’s awesome.
Taylor cover is beautiful but she sings TOO much about boys.
Selena – nice cover – poor songs – try to write one song girl!

If you think Miley’s cover is “gross” your head is stuck back in the 70s. If anything the cover is too tame by today’s youth standards and would be more likely put in the same “boring” category as Selena Gomez’ cover. In fact of the 3 covers Miley’s is the more accurate in depicting what the album is about (listen to “Can’t Be Tamed”). Gomez could be an opera singer for all anyone knows from that cover. And Swift’s cover, while pretty, just underscores the fact that most country western singers have no idea what C&W means anymore (not Swift’s fault – it’s been that way since Shania Twain’s day).

HOW on EARTH can an album cover be “safe”?
I think only when the cover shows nothing of the artist, as in just a picture of something else, THAT’s Safe…
such a lame excuse to say that Selena’s cover is safe just to put a difference in hers and Taylors…

Taylor is not smiling, learn the definition of smile. Taylor’s cover is no different from her other cutesy ones and is equally as bland, boring and sickeningly sweet as Selenas.
As for Miley yeah her album cover is ugly.

Ok. Very funny, Taylor. I know you like my own heart, Taylor. Rings true, doesn’t it ?Imagine that. I love “Sparks Fly.” All of it. And you know I love to see you with your hair down. Purple and gold, in motion, with hand signals, is intriguing. I hope that makes you feel adored, Taylor.
If the first single is “Mine,” are not all the others, “Not Mine”? Or are they all “Mine” but with different titles? More clearly, is the album about one or many? There are obvious solutions to the problem, consistent with what you have said about the album. Probably you lucked into one. How many tracks are there? Eleven? I thought so.
Love is the most interesting game of all. A woman who rose to the challenge, would, indeed, be a Princess. You, Taylor, are the first true Princess the world has seen, and I know that, and you know that I know that, and so on.
Perhaps, Ms. Swift, we shall one day discuss the way to think, and to write, the beautiful, and the good, and the true. “A cat may look at King.”
