R-Patz and his leading lady had an uber-romantic night out on the town when he came to visit her on the Montreal set of her new film, On the Road!

It’s official – Robert Pattinson may just be one of the best boyfriends in the world! In addition to visiting his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, on the Canadian set of her new film, On the Road, he also took her out for a totally expensive dinner at Montreal’s Le Club Chasse et Peche!

“When they arrived, they were normal, like anyone else. They were in a very good mood!” a staffer at the swanky French restaurant tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively of the August 11 date.”The times that I saw them, they were laughing and talking; they seemed to be having a great date. They never left the table, they were very happy. We  give tons of privacy to the people that come here – they usually have a lot of money – so they and everyone can easily be themselves, which [Rob and Kristen] were doing.”

No hanky panky went down between the Twilight co-stars, but gauging by their body language and their interest in each other, they are very clearly in love. “There was no kissing or anything but they seemed to be in a world of their own. Our restaurant is great for dates and things like this, and they were fitting the mold.”

Our eyewitness also tells us that a pal joined the group at the end of the evening. “A man came and asked for their table;  we double checked with them if the man was someone they knew and they said of course. He joined them as they were finishing their meal and they all left together in a very good mood.”

Rob and Kristen’s happiness at being together must be even greater now that they’re home!  Rob, 24, was spotted bring his 20-year-old GF home to Los Angeles August 17 – right where she belongs.  Ah, love!
