The divalicious singer, who’s been AWOL lately, stepped out in Brazil looking, well, a little different.

Maybe Nick Cannon wasn’t joking when he told fans in June that his wife, Mariah Carey, was sporting a baby bump. The 40-year-old Grammy winner has been out of the spotlight for the past few weeks, but she popped up in Sao Paolo, Brazil, yesterday showing some telltale signs that she’s expecting.

Wearing a chunky sweater coat, Mariah (who’s set to perform at a concert in Brazil on Saturday Aug. 21) bucked her usual body-hugging style with a loose, flowing dress that disguised her shape from the waist down (was she sucking her tummy in?), but clearly showed that her cleavage has gotten even bigger — one of the first indicators of pregnancy.

“Family is important to us. We plan on having kids in the future,” Nick, 29, said back in March. Well, Mariah and Nick, maybe the future is now. We hope so!

Based on Nick’s comments, we’re estimating that Mariah, who is reportedly in negotiations to be one of American Idol‘s new judges, would give birth in December — just before she’d be required to join her old pal Randy Jackson at the judges’ table during Hollywood Week.
