Jen’s new movie totally bombed at the box office!
There weren’t too many options for ladies at the movies this weekend – Piranha 3D, Ice Cube’s The Lottery Ticket and the Twilight spoof Vampires Suck lead the box office — but Jennifer Aniston‘s new romantic comedy The Switch still bombed, coming in 7th place with a measly $8.1 million. Is this a sign of Jen’s big-screen career heading down the tubes?
Personally, I passed on spending $14 at the theater because, even though I love Jason Bateman, he seemed like he would be the one carrying the entire movie. Unfortunately, Jen hasn’t really done it for me since Friends went off the air in 2004.
What about all of you? Why didn’t YOU go see The Switch this weekend?
Watch a video below of HollywoodLife.com‘s advice for Jen. Here’s how she can re-vamp her career — and her image:

The problem is Jen Aniston herself; she can’t carry a movie as a lead actress. The more successful films were ones where she played support roles. Perhaps she’s been typecast since her role as Rachel in Friends. Her recent roles have become predictable and tiresome. She needs to taken on other more challenging roles, not just another whiney single white insecure suburban woman. The recent bad publicity with O’Reilly didn’t help either. You may not agree on his views, but he apparently has a bigger following than her!

It was a great movie…light and funny. Maybe too much competition or she’s done too many movies back to back. I would recommend anyone to see it!

Stick a fork in her film career, it’s done! Jennifer Anniston is the same character in every role she plays both on TV and in films. She is a cardboard cutout. No, she isn’t beautiful. She is photogenic and takes care of herself. If I were her Agent, I would sit down with her in a private place and tell her the truth. She desperately needs to move into Phase II of her life. Brad is not only an actor. He builds and designs things that benefit other people. Jennifer could start up her own PR agency and rep up-and-coming actors/actresses. She could get a degree from a good university that she can put to use in the future. She is smart enough to know there is no such thing as a future in show biz once you hit 30. I cannot imagine how humiliating it must be to stand on the Red Carpet in your cute little mini and perfect hair and know the movie you are promoting is a mess. Think about it, Jen. A new career, a new future. Or back to TV and the same old same old. It’s your future. We care.

I love Jen..but i hate movies about babies! If i hear of another baby bump Im gonna shoot myself. So tired of americas obsession with kids! This country has too many people as it is! OVER CROWDED! Love Jason bateman too.. I will watch it on cable. 11 bucks to see this is just too much. I dont go to the movies really anymore.. unless its for sex and the city or some horror movie. Thats all I go to. Movie theaters are gross dirty and people talk through movies! I bet if this got released on pay tv people sooo wouldve watched it at home.
Her next movie horrible bosses is supposed to be different for her. she should star with tom cruise and make an action flick like cameron diaz did.

IT’s because she keeps doing the same exact movie time after time after time, while remaining in Rachel Green Mode!!! JENNIFER, YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE A MOVIE STAR!!! MIX IT UP..CHANGE YOURSELF… DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!! GODS SAKE, PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!
