Following months of rumors, speculation, and various alimony reports, the union between Tiger and Elin has finally been dissolved!
After almost six years of marriage, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren‘s divorce was finalized on Aug. 23. The couple released a statement saying, “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.” The divorce document described the marriage as, “irretrievably broken.”
The former pair went on to say, “Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”
This comes almost 9 months to the day after the couple’s much publicized Nov. 27 altercation over news of Tiger’s various affairs. It has been reported, though not confirmed, that Elin would be receiving $100 million from the golfer.
Initial reports had Tiger cheating on his wife with club promoter Rachel Uchitel, though within a few months the number of women who came forward saying they had been with the golfer topped 15. One woman, porn star and escort Devon James, even claimed Tiger was the father of her 9-year-old son.
Soon, stories of Tiger’s sexual habits, including his predilection for the sleeping drug Ambien during his various rendezvouses, became public knowledge. Rachel even went so far as to say the golfer was addicted, shortly before she herself checked into rehab.
The attention has also wreaked havoc on Tiger’s golf game, as he is having his worst season ever, failing to win even one tournament.
This was the first marriage for Tiger, 34, and former model Elin, 30. The pair have two children, a 3-year-old daughter Sam and a son Charlie who is 18 months.

Thank God Tiger divorced that uneducated, violent Elin.
You have a right to be upset when your spouse cheats, but you do not have a right to get violent. I am afraid for the kids, with her temper.
If Tiger would have caught her cheating, and got a golf club to beat her, does anyone think that would have been ok?
I just hope if he ever marries again, it will not be an un-educated nany, who makes no contribution to society.

i think this is true for Elin, but I don’t think for tiger, b/c he don’t care about anyone but himself. if he cared about his kids and there happiness he wouldn’t have done what he did.

Continue to BOYCOTT THE SWITCH so long as Anisotn refuses to apologize for her harmful language!! Also, contact Lili Claire Foundation, an organization that works diligently to improve the lives of special needs children, and demand that they remove Aniston from their Honorary Board. Lili Claire’s innocent children deserve better than to have this VILE woman’s name associated with them.

Boycott The Switch. Jennifer Aniston is obviously an extremely selfish insensitive person. The special children that go through life suffering due to their disability deserve better. I pray for them everyday of my life. God Bless the parents and people who help them to cope. I am sure that Jennifer Aniston is one of many who don’t care about anyone other than themselves and only about money People in the limelight like her should be helping not hurting. Thank goodness she has no children to care for.
