Venus Williams stepped out for the Louis Vuitton Santa Monica boutique opening in LA on Aug. 19,wearing a red printed Louis Vuitton frock with a belt and a pair of flats — but that wasn’t the first time we saw this ruffled get-up!
Miranda Kerr was the first to turn up in the mini for Louis Vuitton’s 40th Anniversary party to celebrate the Lunar Landing at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC in July 2009, where the model paired the get-up with a belt under the ruffle, a pair of peep toes, and a gold Louis Vuitton clutch. Personally, I like Miranda’s understated accessories way better, making her the clear winner in my book. What do you think?

they both look fantastic in that dress, though i hate that pose that everyone does with their legs crossed to try to minimize their hips and thighs. HATE IT. i think serena would have looked much better if she lost that pose which is actually twisting her ankle… but, she looks stunning, regardless. as does miranda…
