It looks like real life couple Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have figured out the key to a successful realtionship — spoil your wife! Jennifer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at Showtime’s pre-Emmy party that the key to kepping your wife happy is, “Make sure you send them emails and cards and surprise her every once and awhile.” It seems to be working for these two!

Jennifer also joked about whether or not the couple wanted children, and why Michael was making it so hard! While Jennifer said now wasn’t the time she also joked, “It’s his fault for the age difference! He’s 39, I’m 30. He should have found me sooner!”
