Jackie Evancho, a young girl from the suburbs of Pittsburgh, blows away the judges on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ as does Alice Tan Ridley, mother of Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe!

10-year-old Jackie Evancho and 57-year-old Alice Tan Ridley could not be more different, yet the two stole the show Aug. 31 on America’s Got Talent. Jackie, whose voice sounds as if it could not possibly be coming from such a young child, performed the Andrea Bocelli song “Time to Say Goodbye,” bringing the audience to their feet. We would like to see one of the American Idol kids try this!

Alice, meanwhile, wowed the crowd with her rendition of Whitney Houston‘s “I Have Nothing.” Performing in the New York City subway system just a few months ago, the incredible singer is now performing for millions! It looks like Gabourey is not the only star in this family!
