BFFs, I’ve been waiting to see the Country Music Festival air on ABC for the past three months! Find out which moment shocked me the most and which country hottie talked about boxers or briefs!
I’d be shocked if last night’s CMA Festival: Country’s Night To Rock concert didn’t make you a die-hard country music fan! The four-day Nashville festival took place at the world-famous LP Field from June 9 to 12, and ABC finally aired three hours of the concert footage Sept. 1! BFFs, it was totally awesome — I was glued to the screen the entire time! In case you didn’t get a chance to catch it and forgot to set your TiVo’s don’t worry, I’m here to fill you in with all the details! Check out my top five favorite moments from the CMA festival!
- 1: My favorite moment had to be when my all-time favorite country music starlet, Taylor Swift, shocked her devoted fans! Taylor stood outside in the blazing sun for over thirteen hours in heels — just to sign autographs! That alone wins my vote as the best moment from last night’s TV special!
- 2: Kid Rock stole the show! The Michigan native performed twice in last night’s special, but there was one performance that had me utterly moved! He performed his latest single off his new album, “Born Free” while people in the audience held American Flags, it was a true moment and I downloaded the single immediately after.
- 3: Carrie Underwood is HOT! The former American Idol winner looked perfectly tanned and toned when she took the stage to sing three of my all-time favorite songs: “Last Name,” “Cowboy Cassanova,” and “Undo It!”
- 4: Who doesn’t love Brad Paisley?! The adorable and amazing artist sang his new single “Water,” and had me signing along the entire time. But what really made me put him in my top five was when he sat down for a behind-the-scenes interview and opened up about his kids, boxers or briefs, and what makes him blush! To answer the last two he said: “depends, and Kellie Pickler!”
- 5: Let’s not forget about Tim McGraw! The country music hit-maker hosted the event and was more adorable than ever in his signature tight jeans, white tee and cowboy boots! He did a great job as the host of the concert and even made his way down to the audience where screaming girls flocked all around him!
