Phew! Pregnant Celine Dion And Her Unborn Twins Are Doing Just Fine!
Denying recent rumors that she was in the hospital, pregnant Celine Dion, who’s expecting twin boys, is doing fantastic!
Don’t believe the internet rumors! A report in a French tabloid that Celine Dion, 42, was experiencing complications with her pregnancy and was rushed to the hospital are completely false, says her rep. “She’s never been in the hospital — her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic,” her rep said.
Celine, whose boys with husband René Angélil, 68, are due this November, has been following doctor’s orders to take it easy while in the homestretch. “As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy,” says her rep.
Rumors of complications (it was claimed that Celine had to have surgery to close her cervix and prevent early delivery of the twins) have troubled Celine, René and their son René-Charles, 9, as their friends and family have been anxiously calling to make sure that everything is OK. “To be so happy and then to get these calls, it’s been upsetting for them when they are in such a good place,” says her rep.
René-Charles started a new school year last week and Celine, who had trouble conceiving and turned to IVF, “is feeling great, and she and Rene are excited to meet the twins — they just can’t wait.”
