While promoting their latest flicks both girls broke out glam get-ups! Get a 360 degree view of their dresses!
Both Natalie Portman and Jessica Alba are in Venice for the Film Festival where they’re promoting their latest flicks — and while they’re there, they are breaking out a slew of fancy frocks! Natalie, who’s promoting Black Swan, turned up totally ready for the red carpet in a striking Rodarte gown. The star, who’s a huge fan of the line, didn’t disappoint in the intricately draped tulle get-up.
While Jessica has had a stellar summer style-wise, her recent choices in Venice have let me down. Don’t get me wrong, her black Versace fall 2010 couture frock at the Machete premiere on Sept. 1 is dramatic, however, considering January Jones wore such a similar dress just days ago to the Emmys, Jess’ look falls flat. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely glam, however, I was expecting to be totally in love with what she wore and that wasn’t the case.
Jess has been one of my fave girls from the summer, but Natalie’s look was premiere perfect. Who did you think really wowed on the red carpet?

Nat can be a bit too serious while acting, and in real life overall is also too serious. Loosen up. BUT she is great, although Jessica Alba is cute and plays her “sex appeal” better, Nat remains in the lead in terms of acting, talent and senee of style! Unique al over.

Well now, these dresses are like day and night! It’s a little difficult to be comparing the two, no?
First of all:
Natalie’s gown, is definitely more suitable for a fancy event, such as red carpet activities. It’s a little wacky, a little ballroom-dancer-esque, however it flows beautfully as she walks (just as a dancer’s gown should). Neither her shoes nor her dress are particularly eye catching, anf they don’t really belong together. Although the dress does have interesting lines going on through it, I get the idea, but I just don’t really like it.
Next:
Jessica’s dress is very fun and flirty. It’s very youthful, and certainly isn’t bringing down her figure. Her shoes look just like the ones all the highschool girls are wearing at my brother’s highschool-not very interesting. Overall, not really the most appropriate dress for the occassion (it’s a fairly casual dress), but it looks good none the less.
Even though I don’t like Jessica, but do like Natalie- I have to give the trophy to Jessica.
Sorry Nat- you look good in everything, but maybe go for a different designer next time!

I find Jessica Alba to be the more talented of the two. Natalie Portman’s acting is a little strange and it always seems as though she’s having the hiccups when she’s acting which tends to get annoying after a while. Hotness wise I’m gonna have to choose Jessica alba too. I’m a guy and Natalie has that boyish thing going on which I don’t find attractive at all.

Critics are already praising Portman’s role in the Black Swan, while Jessica Alba plays yet another one dimensional, eye candy role for Machete.
Portman for the win, not only in dress choice, but in acting talent as well.
