Julia Roberts once said, “The hardest thing about looking at old photographs of yourself is seeing all your old eyebrows.” It can take YEARS to get the right shape but believe me, ladies, it’s so worth it! The right eyebrow shape can change your whole look: it can make you look younger, brighter - even skinnier!
Since they’re photographed incessantly, celebrities have to invest in finding the right brow shape almost immediately, which is why I sought out celebrity brow guru Ramy Gafni for his expert opinion on what brow shape works best with each face shape. Find the star with your particular shape and check out how to get her perfect brows:
Anna Paquin (Oval/Angular): “These brows are excellent for her brow bone and face shapes: the slightly sharper arch works with the angular shape of her face and the slightly-rounded curve of the arch softens her look.”
Kim Kardashian (Oval): “Kim is an oval and these brows are perfect for her: they’re full with a prominent arch with a straight line up to the arch, not overly curved.”
Claire Danes (Square/Long): “Claire’s shape works because it doesn’t have a high arch which would make the face appear longer. Her brows are more round and grown in, closer to their natural state. Perfect.”
Lea Michele (Round): “Love love love! Perfect shape for her face. She has a nice, full brow, which is an excellent overall shape for a round face. The dramatic arch adds angles to what could otherwise be an arch that could make her face look overly round. She looks very polished and groomed.”
Christina Hendricks (Heart-Shaped Face): “She has a soft, slightly more rounded arch from the peak of the brow to the back end of the brow and they’re thin to medium fullness, which is excellent for that shape of face.”
