We witnessed Lea Michele’s diva-esque behavior first hand for the THIRD time last night at the Glee premiere party. She should take note from her friendly (and gorgeous) co-star Dianna Agron…doesn’t she know divas never prosper?
One hit show and an Emmy nomination later, Glee‘s Lea Michele is officially on our diva radar! The 24-year-old former Broadway starlet acted exactly like her stuck-up character, Rachel Berry, at the second season premiere and party in Los Angeles Sept. 7 — and HollywoodLife.com witnessed the entire thing!
While other cast members like, Dianna Agron and Jane Lynch, mingled with guests at the premiere party at the Paramount Studios lawn, Lea held court in the roped off VIP section with three security guards dressed in black surrounding her at all times.
Several fans waited patiently outside of the ropes, hoping to catch the dramatic actress’ attention to shower her with compliments. One 17-year-old high school student from the East Coast had flown out for the premiere and was missing her first day of senior year. Her biggest goal was to take a pic with Lea, who’s one of her favorite actresses, but sadly, Lea never left her perch and sat by herself with her team the majority of the night. So disappointing!
This isn’t the first time we’ve witnessed Queen Lea give her fans the cold shoulder! At the Primetime Emmy Awards Aug. 29, the nominated actress didn’t even stop to say hello when Gleeks began singing her “Happy Birthday” on the red carpet.
Later that night, HollywoodLife.com overheard the diva complaining to her boyfriend, Theo Stockman, about all the attention she was receiving. “Oh my god, I totally need bodyguards. Ugh!” she said, grimacing.
Meanwhile, Lea’s co-star, Dianna Agron is a dream on the red carpet and to her fans. She tirelessly works to show her appreciation, which is something Lea should start doing a little more if she wants to maintain her leading lady status. After all, look at these other divas who infamously learned their lessons when it was too late…
- Shannen Doherty, one of TV’s original divas, was such a nightmare on the Beverly Hills: 90210 set that she was fired in 1993. Then, she was let go AGAIN from Charmed in 1994 because she allegedly didn’t get along with co-star Alyssa Milano. YIKES! Meanwhile, Shannon’s 90210 co-star, Jennie Garth, 38, is known for being a real do-gooder. She’s a celebrity spokeswoman for “Go Red for Women” and goes out of her way to talk to fans and press, alike.
- Katherine Heigl infamously turned down an Emmy nomination for her role on Grey’s Anatomy because she “hadn’t been given good enough material,” and she didn’t think it was “fair” to the other nominees. She later was written out of the show. Katerine’s 40-year-old former co-star, Ellen Pompeo behaves completely differently and actually acts grateful for what Grey’s has done for her career.
- After being written off her show, Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan, 46, filed a lawsuit against creator, Marc Cherry and ABC alleging she experienced “assault and battery, gender violence, discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation and age, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” When no other cast members would stand up for her, Nicollette later down-played her original allegations. 35-year-old Housewife, Eva Longoria Parker, has a positive attitude, which has led to a blossoming career. Since landing the show, she’s been the face of Bebe Sport and L’Oreal.
- 48-year-old reality diva Danielle Staub famously was fired from Real Housewives of New Jersey this year because she couldn’t help her diva behavior on the Bravo show. On the other side of the bridge/tunnel, good girl and Real Housewife of New York, Bethenny Frankel, landed her own spin off reality show Bethenny Getting Married?
- Although it hasn’t seemed to hurt her yet, we’re just waiting for Kate Gosselin‘s snotty attitude to get the best of her. Despite acting like a sweet, humble woman, HollywoodLife.com has witnessed Kate acting like a major diva, walking around like she’s a legend and acting too cool for school.

She’s a Virgo like me so I understand her. I can only be around people for a short time because it takes a lot out of me to mingle and chitchat. It’s very draining and I do tend to get moody when tired. I mostly like to sit away from the crowd and just watch people which some may think is divaish behavior.
Virgos are very misunderstood people…but you can be sure that we have good hearts.
Lea and Charice get along with each other because they are both ‘Earth signs’…Lea being a Virgo and Charice being a Taurus…

Oh please, Charice isn’t a saint. She’s a human being and makes mistakes (remember her Botox?). And I’m sure like every other human being, including Lea, has bad days. Give it time — the gossip will start about her, too.

One must be a fanatic fan not to see her real behaviour. You can see on all her interviews that she is still acting. Remember when the whole cast of GLEE was interviwed and guested in Oprah show? Oprah asked all the them, who among the cast members are real and closest to their roles, without any hesitation, all of them pinpointed Lea Michelle on the spot. And we all know Lea Michelle plays Rachel role in Glee, an annoying, spoiled student who thinks she´s above on everyone else.

You may want to rewatch that Oprah show becasue only Matt spoke up to say she was like Rachel, Why? Because they are both driven and know what they want. Those are good things.
You like this site mixed things up for a negative effect. I am not saying she didn’t sit in the VIP section or whatever but other account says she DID mingle with fans, video/pictures show she was with other cast and so on.
This site has tries to get thier digs in whenever possible. Two stories posted today did just that gave digs at Lea expense when there was no reason too.

GOD!!! certain people don’t know when to stop and thank for what they’ve already accomplished.
I am a big fan of her character but i hate when she behaves like Rachel or worse off set.

Well the stalker Lea has while she was in Spring Awakening for one. Anyway the body guards where there for the event in general not for Lea. Her table was situated near the security. The writer chose to think she had them their for her, instead of getting the real story..

Again contradictions on what people saw that night. But to that girl that didn’t get her autograph-do you know how many people are pulling Lea Michele 150 different directions-unfortunately she can not please everyone and it looks like these rag magazines-including ET-are going to slant the story to get ratings. It is to bad that people are so easy to believe. People will say anything to get a story-wasn’t just a year ago that the whole cast hated each other.

This isn’t a journalist. This is another frustrated, wanna-be performer who is so bitter there are people with more talent than them making a name fore themselves. A journalist is someone who checks sources and facts, and doesn’t make sweeping generalizations like Lea ignored fans and was alone “all night long” especially when photographic evidence shows otherwise.

Okay, I’m not exactly Lea Michele’s biggest fan, but I can’t stand it when journalists complain about stars being divas just because they won’t come and divulge their biggest secrets to you for you to post all over the internet. Some stars would just prefer to not talk to gossip journalists. I know I’d feel the same way.

Lea also did plenty of press that night, posed for pictures, posed with her cast mates etc. This little girl who writes this blog is in love with Dianna I guess and is threaten by Lea? I’m not sure why she is so hot to go after Lea.
Don’t pretend she was that way the entire night or that she didn’t do what she was suppose to do with press or fans.
It is to the point if she doesn’t do something you bash her, if she does you will say she is just trying to get good press. I say don’t like her move on to someone else.

There were pictures of people who were at the event on tumblr and twitter who said she was nice and accomdating.
Why is this one bloggers word more important then those people who were there too?
I’m not saying she didn’t go to the VIP area just that she did talk to fans and other party goers. This wirter acts as if she watched her the whole night and know exaclty what she did or didn’t do the whoel time. This so called writer also always seem to use Lea name to get hits on her site.

No going after an actress is nuts. She is totally exaggerating it if it happened at all. Acting as if she did not interact at all with the fans. Which several other accounts contradict that.
Can Lea have diva moments probably is she as bad as this writer says, doubtful. She has an axe to grin that is obvious to anyone who has been paying attention.
The nuts part is someone trying to bring Lea down for no other reason but she doesn’t really like her. Why not ignore her then. It is sad that you want to hurt her, Sorry you certainly aren’t proving to be any better of a person by this junk writing.

Not everyone defending this poor girl is a Glee fan. I only watch Glee on occasion, but I’ve watched interviews with her and read interviews about her (her best friend is apparently Jonathan Groff, who is himself an incredibly sweet human being)and she seems completely normal. You’re clearly biased against the Glee fans and all too willing to accept whatever websites feel like “reporting” about her.
Besides that, this entire thing is stupid. There are videos on youtube of her talking to fans before the party.

As to the awards themselves, I thought Jimmy Fallon acquitted himself quite well. Apparently the folks at home agreed, giving the Emmys their highest ratings in the past four years. But let’s talk for a second about the fabulous opening number and that “cameo” by Kate Gosselin. Stiff as a board…or bored stiff! And yet, she thinks she’s on her way to stardom. “Doing that little part in the skit was so amazing for me, being around so many wonderful actors. I so want to give it a try. I think it is so fun to be somebody else, to get out of me and be somebody else.” This chick can barely play herself convincingly! She showed up at the ET post-Emmy party with a bodyguard, allowed no photos, took no questions, sat at a corner table by herself, and then left. Yeah, she’s a people person!
