Mommy-to-be Christina shares her thoughts on the possibility of an Anchorman sequel – and if you’re a fan of the cult favorite film, you’ll be happy to know this fantasy could soon be a reality!

Who ISN’T obsessed with Anchorman? We’ve been eagerly awaiting the day when we’d see a sequel to the cult 2004 film about sexist anchorman Ron Burgundy whose world is rocked in the ‘70s when feminist anchorwoman Veronica Corningstone comes to town. Guess what, BFFs? That day may come sooner than you think!

“Your guess is as good as mine [as to when the movie will actually be written],” star Christina Applegate – who played Veronica in the original film – said while attending a Surfrider Foundation event in Malibu, Calif. Sept. 11. “The whole cast is in,” she added, “But it’s up to monetary costs.”

Our fingers are crossed that this happens ASAP! In the meantime, BFFs, as Ron himself says, “Stay classy.”
