Leann Rimes’ ex hubby is upset that she used their young age as a reason for them to get divorced and claims it’s not true!
Leann Rimes told Shape magazine that her marriage to Dean Sheremet failed in part because they were so young when they tied the knot, but Dean claims that was not the case at all.
“Age had very little to do with why we got divorced,” he told US Weekly. “I was very content and satisfied. I put myself on hold to funnel all my creative energy into her career and our marriage. I was willing to make the sacrifices necessary to have a successful marriage and further her career.”
Dean also said he couldn’t believe that Leann, 28, cheated on him with actor, Eddie Cibrian.
“I knew, and know, her better than anyone in this world,” he said, adding, “I was blindsided and shocked that she of all people would do this to the closest person in her life.”
Thankfully, Dean also found new love in a photographer named Sarah Silver — they are living together in New York City.

Homewrecker! She looks just like the giant dog in the Neverending Story, just because Eddie left his wife for her, doesn’t mean he will not leave her for another woman. Karma’s a bitch…..

Let’s simplify the situation….Leann is justifying her very poor behavior thus the reason for her ex’s rebuttal and subsequent disgust. IMO there is never a good enough excuse to cheat. If you feel the need then maybe it’s time for a divorce….Look’s as though they did things a little backwards in their situation.

I don’t blame him, but he is bitter. If Leanne thinks her age played a factor, only she can truthfully know that. It may not have been the case that he changed as he got older and maybe he was not “too young” when he married her, but maybe she was. She did speak for him in that article, so she deserves him being reactive here and correcting the record from his frame of mind- but ultimately, he can’t speak for her age/maturity/development/changes. Only she can.
