Can you imagine having to go on tour with your ex-boyfriend…and then watch him start dating another girl right in front of you? No wonder Demi is over Joe!
Demi Lovato is handling her awkward romantic situation like a true champ. Not only is she traveling around the country performing with ex-boyfriend, Joe Jonas, but the Disney starlet has had to suffer the indignity of watching Joe fall in love with someone new – he brought new GF Ashley Greene on tour!
“You know, I don’t have advice for anybody on that. You gotta brush it off,” Demi, 18, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively when we asked her what advice she’d give to other girls in her situation.
“I think there’s a certain level of respect that’s lost when that happens, but you can’t do anything about it other than to just keep going and be glad you have someone in your life that you can think about and spend your time with,” she added.
Joe, 21, and Demi became best friends when they shot their Disney film, Camp Rock, together in 2007. They started dating earlier this year, but sadly, after only two months of dating, broke up in May. Now, Joe has ditched his purity ring (literally) and has been spotted canoodling all around the world this summer with Twilight actress Ashley Greene.
We cannot even imagine being in Demi’s shoes right now…she’s handling the entire situation way more maturely than we ever could!

I find it kind of stupid how they just broke up and joe already has a girl lined up as his girlfriend. its amazing how people can move on so fast. Good luck to you Demi. Know you can find someone better.

I love joe, demi and ashley. But I think he’s making a huge mistake. I don’t care who he dates, and it doesn’t matter if he’s over demi or not, or if she’s over him or not, she’s still a person and has feelings. and if ashley really meant that she still wants demi to be friends with joe, she would have refused to come with them on tour. At least for her and her boyfriend’s public image. I still love all three of them, but joe has to work out looots of stuff

OMG!!!! I cant belive that joe ditched his purity ring and if he did lose his virginity its too bad that he lost it to ashley greene because she is just using him for the fame becuse nobody ever knew who she was before twilight. Joe and Demi made a cute couple and i think demi is being too nice to joe and joe is being a jerk by bringing his girlfriend on tour and demi having to watch them. I am a fan of joe but this time he has really disapointed me and i bet alot of his fans are upset.Demi you deserve a nice guy and joe i lost some repect for you.If you notice ashley greene is causing problems for joe.

Just because Joe brings Ashley to his concerts doesn’t mean it’s DEMI’S tour. She came to see her man perform with his brothers and to support her boyfriend, that’s all. It’s a Jonas concert, not a Demi concert, okay? if it bugs her, screw it! I like Joe with Ashley and not with Demi. He should be with women, not a teenage girl who whines and cries her way and ignores Joe at every concert without even hugging the poor guy and even giving him a high-five and even laughing with him,you know? So stop bashing and hating on Joe because he has a good heart , has feelings and loves helping people in need and also gives back to the community through his charity!

I agree with you on somethings, but others I don’t. Demi is a real girl with real feelings and she obviously still loves Joe and bringing his new GF with him on tour isn’t gonna make things better for her. And Demi is really mature and it’s not like she talked bad about him or anything. I mean, how would you feel if your boyfriend broke up with you and he was making out with his new GF right in front of you? You wouldn’t like that would you. And so what if Joe gives to charity! He can give to charity and still be a idiot who dates every hot girl he sees and breaks up with her for an older woman. Joe may be a nice person, but it doesn’t mean he’s not a player. I used to love Joe but after all this ive lost all respect for him.

If Joe was so interested as he said in saving their friendship, he should never have brought Ashley to LOTS of concerts/soundchecks and especially let her travel WITH them to Canada.
And by lots of concerts I mean: week in NY, Jones Beach, 2 in Canada, last concert days ago – and I think there’s at least another one I can’t remember.
Joe should also be able to know this situation would bring tension to the tour. Not a very professional move too.
If I were asked about this situation, I couldn’t be so classy as Demi in my answers. And if I were in her shoes, I certainly would lost respecct for him too.
You can still love Joe, but you have to admit his behaviour lately was completly wrong.

Personally, I’m not a fan of Joe, I love Ashley. I don’t want him to jut her, imagine how Demi feels when he brings Ashley and she HAS to watch them, well she doesn’t have too but… Yeah.

Are any of you real fans?? That you would believe that Joe is a player that breaks hearts and doesn’t take time to make decisions?? Joe is a person, he isn’t perfect. If he is dating Ashley, then that’s his business. And I think as Joe’s friend, Demi should have thought twice about saying that. Haven’t you heard Joe say it enough?? He still wants to be friends with her! That’s why he broke up with her! He thought their relationship was better off as just friends.
You guys think he has all the wrong intentions, when really, he does think it out, and he does have a reason for all of this. Yes, he broke her heart, and probably the hearts of Jemi fans too, but any guy who is going to break up with a girl is going to break her heart. Joe’s case isn’t new. So, if you’re a real fan, you’ll respect his decisions.

I like Joe more since he left Demi!! Demi is kind of crazy because she got to be around Joe everyday of the tour and Ashley was only around a few times but not the entire tour. I was at the San Diego concert and I was so bored when Demi sang but Jonas was really working for the fans.
Demi needs her own tour and her own boyfriend. They are all on break for a month so I hope Demi, Joe and all of them take a nice vacation from this and start being real friends again. I will never get rid of my Jonas stuff!
